Natty's RTD Stimul8 Log

Why so many pulldown variations instead of pull-ups? Open kinetic is a better option than a closed kinetic.

Well this is just how the cookie crumbled this time! And i have a tendency to overpull on my right side while doing pullups, thus making my right side a little bigger! My whole right side is slightly bigger than left side. Except for legs(my left leg is bigger than right)! Haha, im all screwed up.

Yea i some what agree. I mostly use it for pre-exhaustion.
You know, I've never understood the point of doing that. It just seems like a way to sabotage the big lifts that cause the most hypertrophy, whether it be sarcoplasmic or myofibrillar.

Well i see were it could go both ways, but say for instance, your triceps overpower your chest in benchpress(this is the case in a lot of folks), you could do some flys for pre-exhaustion for pecs thus benchpressing the pecs should get stimulated more.

Umm...wouldn't that just make you use your triceps more since they're fresh and the pecs are fatigued?

Well, i wouldnt think so. I mean your pecs would already be fatigued, so your pecs would get fatigued even more while bench pressing before triceps tire out!

Exactly, if they're already tired then they'll gas out before your triceps do and there are simple technical alterations you can make by shortening the ROM instead of prefatiguing the pecs. If you have a particular muscle that is dominant in a particular movement, then you'd want to fatigue that one before doing the movement. That being said, it makes far more sense to focus on a compound movement, which will cause the most hypertrophy potential, than to do an isolation movement.

Solid workout Natty... tons of volume and looks like you hit your back from every angle.

Let us know what your friends think after they try it out!

Thanks. And one guy already took it and he said the main thing he noticed was the energy was very "clean" feeling. He only drank half of it; im trying to get him to down a whole bottle. He said you would after he gets use to it some.

Starting with a half bottle is a good idea. If it does the trick, makes it that much more cost effective. Glad he liked it!

HS incline press
Cable flies
Pec dec
Chest press machine
DB incline

Overall, it was a awesome workout. Tomorrow is legs, and tomorrow will be my 6th bottle. Half way through this log.

Was an awesome workout; i work shoulders this evening!

I don't do much hip work. You find that it helps with your squats, or...?

I find supersetting my bodyweight squats with leg curls at the start of my leg workouts, has helped my hips a fair bit. Definitely loosens me up for squats/leg press.

Today was shoulders....all i can say is i done a ton of reps and supersets consisting of:

DB lateral raises
BB OHP
Reverse grip BB OHP
Lateral machine
Rear delt flies out of the wazoo! Lol

Hows this rodja? Invalid Link Removed
Hard to say on how low you're going, but it looks high along with hyperextension at the lumbar spine instead of squeezing the glutes to finish the rep. You do look to be pushing back with your hips properly to initiate the movement.

Well finals are all over! Finished the semester with 2 As and 2 Bs! Also didnt post last night do to studying but i hit back.....HARD! I havent done deadlifts in a while and my traps and lower lats are freaking sore as crap! Lol
