Not in a shake. For me it's the half a milli-second after I swallow, it kinda burns.
 
Use Dag or Enova oil....very light tasting and try putting your Enova or EVOO on salads or in tuna fish sandwiches! Makes things a lot easier!

lol... well a shake isn't "food"

I was thinking more along the lines of spinach, broccoli, tuna, yams, eggs, anything with a tomato sauce... you can throw some EVOO on any of those and it is mighty tasty. Not sure why someone would have to choke it down raw when you probably eat so many things throughout the day that it would go well on?

I do drink flax oil straight, but I wouldn't waste my olive oil :D
 
Thanks for the tip glen, I just ended up slamming the table spoon of oil all at once and chase it down with water, couldnt even taste it. One thing that is weird that doesnt make any sense this week is that I have been eating way cleaner than I ever have, and I am off cycle now, yet this week I gained 3lbs and I havent touched a weight, other than tuesday when I did some really light stuff. I think that is kinda weird. I dont weigh more than when I peaked my heaviest on cycle, but I weigh more than I did when I ended my cycle. Kinda crazy I think being post cycle and all, my waist measurements havent changed either, and I dont look like I have put on any fat I dont think. Maybe I was just so overtrained that this break allowed my muscles to fully recover and build up? I dunno, but I hope it doesnt stop!

I don't think it's weird....remember this overtraining discussion we were having some time ago :D I'm sure Glen remebers, too..hahaha. Your body needs a break! YOu move tons of weigght, for tons of volume, and your body is pissed off at you :p (IMHO)
 
lol **** yeah i remember

nate .. have you recently been eating a fair amount more carbs (like the past 2-3 days)? .. your muscle glycogen stores may have increased a lot which would certainly account for the weight increase

Glen- Actually no I havent upped my carbs, to tell you the truth I have lowered them a bit, I was taking in around 400-450g/day. Most of this week has been not over 300g/day I bet. On thursday I ate half a large pizza, so I probably retained a bit of water from all the sodium. Beef pizza+Ranch dressing=YUMMY. Hey glen, remember how good pizza tasted:D

I agree. Instead of putting butter on my rice or potatoes or any other food for that matter, I use olive oil. I love the stuff.
 
As I said earlier, I took this last week off from lifting. Well I took some measurements the other night and I actually grew this week lol. Gained like 1/8" on my arms, 1/4" on my thighs, 1/8" on calves lol (have no idea how) and my waist stayed the same. I must have been seriously overtrained, because every time in the past when I take a week off, i lose a few pounds from glycogen retention I think, and my measurements usually drop a bit from lack of glycogen/blood flow, but this week my measurements actually increased. Shocked the hell outta me. Plus my test levels are bottomed out most likely right now, so that is crazy. Just thought I would share that, as it was a very pleasant surprise:D
 
Downing the olive oil and walnuts too, getting about 500 extra cals from the walnuts, and around another 400-500 cals from the olive oil. This is on top of my regular diet, so if it seems I am gaining fat I will cut back on those. That is probably too many calories added in too fast, but I will see what happens. Any suggestions?

This week actually was the fastest growth in a week, or at least equalled one of my weeks on cycle, which is crazy...i wonder how long I have been so overtrained....been feeling shitty for several weeks, but kept pushing it. stupid me. I have such a hard time talking myself into taking time off.

Look into a good low volume routine.....
 
Im kind of trying that now, dont want to overtrain myself in pct, that would be horrible. Kwyck, check out my log in the cycle info section and let me know what you think of my workout, i have it posted in there. My back/bi, shoulder/tri days are a little higher volume, but there are only really a few sets in there that are all out balls to the wall. I wouldnt really say it is a low volume routine, but definetly lower than what I used to do lol.
 
nate is currently on a combine a tractor or a wheat truck collecting us our bread, so he probably won't be around for a bit.
 
Then I was doing a 4 day split-

Mon- chest
Tues-legs
Thurs-shoulders/tris
Fri-back bis

I was getting ready for a powerlifting meet then, so my reps were pretty low. For chest I would just flat bench and board press, working up to a 3rm for each. Legs I alternated exercises each week between deads, squats and suspended good mornings, finish off with some heavy back ext and heavy abs. The other body parts were more oriented towards bodybuilding. Shoulders I would do arnolds/side raises/rear raises/shrugs, for tris I would pick 2 exercises, changing them up whenever strength plateaued on them. Back was pullups and bentover rows, biceps I did whatever I felt like, I usually skipped them lol, I hate doing biceps.

I am finally off the farm so now I should be back around everyday, sorry about taking so long to get back to you Big Jay.
 
Looking seriously good, man. And to think you are only 21! You definitely have potential to compete in there! I figure I might look a lot like that after my body recomp, but I've been at it 13 years...

Great job, keep it up.
 
How was the farm life Nate? :) Without a doubt one of the strongest 200lb guys on this board, good to have you back buddy.
