Does anyone have experience with one or both courses? My wife is looking to take one and we're not really certain which is better. From what I'm reading, NASM gets more into the biological science of nutrition, which to me sounds like a major plus and takes me back to my college nutrition science courses.

NASM is acknowledge by basically anyone, anywhere. I've been out of the training game for a few years, but I've never heard of the precision nutrition cert.

Just make sure the certification is actually accredited. If this is something she sees as a career, you want to make sure companies in your area will still accept it. I managed personal training for years, and many people would be pissed to find out the cert they spent hundreds on wasn't accepted by corporate, so their pay would be the same as an uncertified trainer.
