Lower back feels better today, although some upper oblique near the erectors pain has made an appearance. I'll (meaning my daughter) will work on it tonight.
 
Smashed those! I don't know about your stance width. With as much as you sit back, I would have to think it would favor a wider stance. You might get some lean, but your hips will be under you, you know what I mean? That's just my opinion.

I bet your daughter will take great joy in jamming her elbow into your obliques.

The following links is info on the uniforms, they will be navy/white with the APF logo embroidered on the jacket and pants. The jacket will have Team USA embroidered on the back. The team t-shirts will have the WPC logo on the left side chest and the back will have Team USA 2013 WPC World Championships, Prague.

Worked on some technical stuff today w about 80%: pause on the chest, rack command and leg drive. Moved my legs in and towards my head. I liked it better. Everything went pretty good, I think I got some good work in.

Back is meh today...

Not going to squat or dl this week. I've got to give my lower back and obliques a little time to heal.

Sean, on a scale of 1-10, what was the value from the massage work you got done? There was a chick at nationals that was doing some massage and she gave me her card, I'm gonna give her a call this week. She's a ex nat level bb'r, but I won't hold that against her...
 
10 because it was educational. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know where all the glute muscles connect so she helped me target the exact spots that needed working. I was focusing along the bottom of my pelvic bone and along my sacrum when I should have been digging it in right above my femur.

She said everything she did coulda been hit with a lacrosse ball so...It helped me, but not a necessity if I knew what to so

Relief as in:
Tightness? 5, The next day? 8

I was able to externally rotate immediately though, which was the biggest relief to me. I was fairly tender afterward tho and laid off the lacrosse ball for a day or 2
 
Not too much to report today, just took my roller and a tennis ball and did just about all the thoracic and lower back stuff in robertsons SMR ebook. Really good stuff...w pics too...
 
Are you doing the splits suspended between two chairs while holding a kettlebell with your dick and a barbell overhead in jump pants while shirtless like Pavel?
 
Anybody ever hear of Arnica? It's an herb that's supposed to have topical anti inflammatory properties. One of the docs I work with is into the homeopathic stuff.

I'm gonna try to find some today...

There isn't much evidence behind homeopathic medicines, but I will say the one thing that gets repeated good feedback is arnica. Cheap too so can't hurt to try.

I picked up a cream with anirca in it today. Gonna give it a whirl tomorrow...
 
Back has been feeling much better the last couple days. I'm trying this arnica stuff today. I've been doing about an hour of mobility the last few days and I think it's paying off. That Robertson ebook is awesome.

Going to bench tomorrow, not sure of the % yet, I really haven't been going by the template with my bench anyway. Another couple days of mobility and I think I'll be good to go to squat Monday.

Not really concerned about missing a week w the squat, needed the rest more. Deadlift might have to wait until next week.
