napalm: 12 weeks to WPC Worlds...ya, really...

Ugh, wife is attempting to bring the entire contents of her closets for a one week trip.

This is what I'm dealing with:

Wife: hon, I'm going to macys so I can have someone put my makeup on.

Napalm: why, you're gonna be on a plane for the next 12 hours...

Let's see, Russians, khazaks, Mongolians, Hungarians just to name a few. Some of these Russian women are just plain fcking scary. Just got ripped off on some street food. They advertised in very small letters 60 crown for 100 grams of ham. The scam is they give you about 2 lbs.

I just got charged $64 for about 2 lbs of ham and another 2 lbs of halutsky - potatoes, cabbage and bacon. They don't ask you how much you want, they just start cutting hunks of pig.

That won't happen again.

Starting to fade, still haven't had any sleep...

He said he weighed 208 the other day. That should be manageable...

I just weighed myself and was 196.

I was just talking w Joe smolinski who's head of the Michigan apf, he was telling me the eastern euros can be a bit pushy in the warmup room and not to let them get me out of my routine..

The Russians are getting hammered in the bar downstairs, and one across the street. The Russian soccer team is on the literally, only tv channel right now.

And it gets dark here at 4:30...

I'm so fcking tired right now but can't go to bed yet. All the veterans are telling me stay awake as long as humanly possible. If I went to bed now, I'd be awake for the night at 2 am.

Not ideal.

There are a shyt ton of meatheads just wandering around the street. I'm wondering what the locals are thinking.

<---is the smallest guy here by about 75 lbs so far, except the Mongolians. They're about 5 feet tall and 200 lbs. I just saw the Israelis, they look like a bunch of fcking commandos...

Lol, yeah it was good but not $64 dollars good. The scam is that they don't even ask you how much you want. They did the same thing to the guy in front of me.

It was one of those things like as I was handing him the $, I said wtf did I just do?

<----didn't divide 1160 by 18 fast enough.

And now I'm watching the Simpsons dubbed in Czech...

I would think so. Many schools in Europe teach English from an early age, it's a mandatory thing. Like we have the options of French Spanish, etc. it's English in many schools

No, far less than SE Asia where most know SOME English. We went to this little Vietnamese clothes shop and I was able to at least get the chick to understand me.

The wife asked one if the cleaning ladies for some soap and it was like we were from the moon...

Weight this morning: 88.5 kg = 195. Brb, going to get free breakfast before all the Russians eat it. Weigh in = about an hour and a half.
 
There must be a soap and deodorant shortage in Azerbaijan because the men (and women) smell like donkeys...
