NAC, are we doing it wrong? Seeking 17aMethy MOA

Can someone point me in the direction of a reliable source citing the MOA for which 17a Methyl substances affect the liver?

I've been researching NAC's mechanism and it seems to be somewhat narrow in its protecting capabilities to just tylenol overdoses by directly binding to its metabolite. Also the half life seems to be very short something around 1-2 hours.

Also came upon a study suggesting that it may trigger pulmonary hypertension:
h t t p: / /w ww.ncbi.nlm.nih. gov/ pmc/articl e s/PMC19 52618/?tool=p mcentrez]S-Nitros othiols signal h ypoxia-mimetic vascular pa thology

TUDCA, UDCA or Milk Thistle are all good. Check out Liver Longer or Liver Juice.

NAC increases glutathione which is a systemic antioxidant. i wouldn't call it a specific liver ancillary.

i'm sure you knew all that though if you're taking the time to research MOAs
