I think myspace is stupid and ridiculous which is the reason my page is the way it is... it is basically a shrine for dorks to worship themselves...

Myspace isn't all that bad. I had an account for over a year but only started really using it a few months back after I graduated. It's a great way to keep in touch with old friends. I find it so much easier to spend 2 seconds posting a message, then having to call someone.

i second that! its a much lazier AND effective way of keeping in touch with people. like almost everything in life, myspace is what YOU make it to be......i personally have i less than 40 "friends" all of which include only family members and CLOSE friends. its private, um... you can even request to be my friend unless you know my last name..... its what you want it to be.

if you want popularity, u'll have 200+ "e-friends"...... if you want to be a wanna be soft porn star.... you can..... etc....

but i also agree with lego that most people are stupid about it.... my best friend's little sister is on it and posts tthe stupidest teenybopperish post such as " send this to 10 people and you will find love tomarrow" and alot of other stuff like that. or people that take pics of themselves but when you see them in real life, they "looked better on myspace"......
