I like some of those movies, man.

... Some of my favorites are usually some type of Sci-Fi.
I liked Inception, Children of Men, Interstellar, Looper, Source Code, Arrival ... As some examples.
I like other genres as well, but Sci-Fi tends to be my favorite.
It's good escapism.

Snatch
Lock stock and two smoking barrels
Memento
The Departed
Shawshank redemption
Scarface
The good, the bad, the ugly
Leon
Pulp Fiction
City of god
The usual suspects
Intouchables
The pianist
🤔

Boondock saints
Carlitos way
The imaginarium of Dr Parnassus
Lock stock and two smoking barrels
Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind. (Jim Carrey in a completely serious role, no comedy)

Valerian and the City of a thousand planets.
Ready player One
Real steel
Green Street hooligans
Snatch
Fight club
28 days later
Gods of Egypt

I could probably list 100 more. Few years back when I broke my ankles spent a lot of time watching movies

Pulp Fiction
The Departed
American Beauty
Inglorious Bastards
Kill Bill 1 & 2
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Zero Dark Thirty
Snatch
Burn After Reading
Shawshank Redemption
Fracture
The Place Beyond the Pines
Boiler Room
The Place Beyond the Pines
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Swedish & American versions are both excellent).

i remember back in the early 70s the huge drive-in complex in indianapolis called the tibbs used to have $5 carload nights, i remember a bunch of us would pile into glen corral's parents station wagon. we saw a lot of the best movies and had a blast but the most fun i ever had watching a movie was Enter The Dragon...everyone was out of cars and doing kung fu kicks, it was a blast...i'm 63 now and i still smile when i think of that night.

bruce lee was worshiped like a God back then...

too bad they don't have drive ins today, they were great.

Dude I literally went to Tibbs a few weeks ago! They’re open! Saw Free guy and and that new Marvel movie about the ten rings.

hell yeah, glad to hear it's still open.

good memories of tibbs...we once got 10 people in a station wagon for $5, lol...those $5 carload nights were sweet---what does it cost now?

I don’t even remember what we paid. It was just my girlfriend and me. I wasn’t worried about cost, just looking for some fun. I enjoyed it. My dad took my sisters and me to drive-ins a few times years ago. Haven’t been in a long time.

It’s that time of year,…I knock out thrillers, horror, etc…Watched malignant recently, the invisible man, and the squid game, which is pretty morbid (I’m not a fan of overdubs but went ahead with this one, and yeah the voices are comical at times and translations of what they say and subtitles don’t always match up)
