My "REM" Experience

anabolik1

Before I describe my first night, I'll give some background:

age: 24
weight: 232 lbs
bf: ~13 or 14%
training experience: ~4 years seriously (bodybuilding minded) prior to this lifted some playing high school football and stepped up a notch playing a year of college ball until I got injured...a funny thing though, that injury stopped my football career and started me into bodybuilding--->go figure

diet: currently eating maintenance and slightly above

supplementation experience: most "natural" supplements; have never used AAS or PH or the like; I am very in tune with my body and as such, I pay very close attention to how different supps act in and on my body

...enough of that. Now for the good stuff :run:

Well last night marked the beginning of the "REM" Experiment. I ate my last meal and about an hour to an hour and a half later (around 12ish) I popped 3 REMs and sat on the bed watching Adult Swim. I remember thinking that I was greatly hoping that this product was like all the others...great!!!! And if so, I was in for a great nights' sleep.

This would be greatly appreciated as I have been unable to sleep lately and staying up to ridiculous times of the morning...my fingers were crossed.

...So like I said I popped 3 caps and guzzled a half liter of water. I would say it took about 15 minutes and I began to get VERY TIRED AND SLEEPY. I became wrapped in this feeling of comfort and peace of mind. Next thing I knew, it was 8:30 AM and time to eat breakfast. I didn't feel groggy at all and I had the best nights sleep that I have had in quite some time. I normally wake up in the middle of the night a couple of times, but last night, I slept straight through. The REM was the only thing different that I did.

Also, I had one the best dreams ever. Quite "vivid and interactive." Needless, to say I am quite pleased thus far especially considering it was the first night. I was expecting much from one dose but I got a "mindful" :woohoo:

One thing that was a little odd though, was that I woke up a little drier than normal. I am not complaining at all, but I definitely wasn't looking for this. I know it is quite normal to "dry out" through the night, but I pose first thing every morning upon waking I noticed that all of my mandatories (from what I could tell) look a lot better. I am not currently dieting and I didn't drink any more or less water than usual, so this was strange but it was a good strange though.

Anyway, I think that's enough for now I am looking forward to many such nights to come.

Thought I was the only morning poser:}

Bud, this way more than a sleep aid! This is an anabolic, thermogenic, adaptagen, anti-anxiety aid! You wake up rested, recovered, leaner, more mentaly functional and the proceeding workout will be destructive!

I very very excited about this product. We could possibly charge $40 or more but expect a 22-25 retail for over a 30 day supply.

take care

Yeah, I can honestly say in just two doses, I have noticed all of these effects and my workouts have been "SUPER SERIOUS!!!"

Last night was my second day of the "experience." It was more of the same effects this morning. I was harder, fuller, well rested, and much drier looking. My workout this afternoon was phenominal. I am very pleased thus far and I can't wait to stock up on this stuff.

Job well done again USP.

I wonder what the upcoming nights have in store? Stay tuned for updates.

Day 3: More of the same, but I seemed to have a deeper sleep last night...not complaining though. It's probably just the fact that this stuff gets better the longer you take it.

My recovery has been quite impressive also. Since reading about all of the benefits I should see from this product, I stepped up my workout volume to see what would happen. Also, to give a fair assessment I am not taking any supps other than my multi and anti-oxidants...CAN YOU BELIEVE I PAUSED MY USE OF THE OTHER USP PRODUCTS?!!! I only did this so I would know exactly what REM was doing. After some time passes, I'll add the others back in especially since I start my contest diet in a few weeks. :head:

...anyway back to the recovery issue. I have been thoroughly annialating each muscle with ridiculous volume for me (for a given bodypart I do 4 - 10 working sets that's it). This week though, I bumped it up to 8 - 16 working sets -> BRUTAL. All heavy for reps (8 - 12) including supersets, trisets, giant sets, and drop sets. My conclusion...I have yet to be sore. My training partners, think I started juicin'. I just tell 'em yeah, I am on a cycle of that USP

H*ll, with products like the ones from USP, who needs steroids. I have never used them, but with the results I have been getting, I won't even ponder such a thing.

We'll see what day 4 has in store...

I possibly will be roasted for this assesment, but with the great supplements on the market. You can easliy desing a steroid like supplement cycle.

In reality Nothing is going to compare to 2grams of roids a week with HGH. With proper diet and figuring risk to benefit (recovery, PCT, side-effects and etc) todays supplements if designed correctly can surmount to a 10-15lb gain in muscle mass with a reduction in body fat in 2 months.

I'm going to agree to an extent USP, but let's not forget the reward feedback downregulation that comes over time. Perhaps you can gaing that much having never done anything supps/ass/ph's before but the larger you get the harder gains become, and as we all know that's where AAS/GH/Slin (like you said) make the a huge difference. However, it's WAY closer then it's ever been to being equal and you guys are doing ALOT to step further in that direction. Thanks! And as you know I like your products. Looking forward to some solid cissus info.

Not all aspire to be Bodybuilders and Many advanced steroid users have made gains on the ASTEROID stack.

Once you start talking AAS/GH/insulin then you are in another territory and probably using steroids longterm. Physique size on bb competition level is steroid required thats for certian.

IF you just want to perform better, recover faster, be healthy, lose fat, gain muscle then it can by done with diet and supplements.

Yeah, I agree with you USP and Wideguy. You both make valid points. I do very much appreciate "good" supps. And yeah it is true that the larger you become the harder it is to add mass. I do want to start competing...well actually this will be my first year competing. I am going to do it natural but I can guarantee that USP will be the backbone of my supplement stack!

But I digress...

Last night on the REM was weird...but a good weird. I had this dream like I was in the midst of a gruesome horror flick. It was just really weird but then all of a sudden, it transitioned into this wild sex orgy....GO FIGURE???

Anyway, I have definitely noticed the thermogenic effects of the product as I have been having "cool" night sweats, but still deep, deep sleep without interruption. I easily sleep 6 - 8 hours straight and wake-up well rested everyday.

USP, all I have to say is that this is a great product!!!

Also, is the cycling recommendation the same for this stuff, meaning that it is not necessary but recommended to prevent any sort of desensitization to the ingredients???

I am pretty sure this is it, just looking for clarification.

Thanks.

P.S. I believe the ASTEROID Stack or some derivative thereof will be my precontest stack along with the REM and possibly the new product you guys have coming out in a few weeks. Any dosing recommendations with all these. Maybe just follow the ASTEROID Stack as is with a dose of REM at bedtime everynight and the new product with higher carb meals kind of like D.S. Glucophase XR???

Just started taking this and I am loving it. I get great sleep w/ no interruptions which is unheard of for me. It takes about 5-10 mins. to shake off the grogginess but after that I feel so alert and rested.

The new product is still down the road. I would use REM for 4 weeks then asses if it's worth to keep using.

'Preciate the advise. The REM however has been giving me the best sleep ever...especially last night since I only got about 4 hours sleep. Oddly though, I woke up very refreshed and rested like I had slept 8 strong hours

I think it will be a staple continuously cycled in and out of my supp regiment.

Since it helps you sleep is there any chance you could become dependent. Basically if you stopped taking it would you have trouble falling asleep?

Hmmmm its not artificially inducing sleep its natural induction of sleep. Once you cease usuage, the sleep will not be the same (deep rem sleep) but it will not make your patterns worse off.

THis some of the best advice put simply for many supplements on the market. To many are taking to many supplements at once, you really need to learn what the supplement is actually accomplishing. You learn if it's staple worthy (i like the phrase and will use it soon).

For the last couple weeks I've been using 1mg Ativan and/or alcohol before bed to combat anxiety/deppression which kept me from sleeping. Since starting REM bout a week ago I have not once found the need for either Ativan or alcohol. I've also found that I just feel a little better all around, which I'm guessing is most likely a combination of better sleep and less booze an pills. As would be expected my workouts have also been more productive. This product has improved my ability to cope with my anxiety/deppresion in a big way. I don't mean to sound like a cheesy 4am infomercial, but at least I'm not up watching them anymore. I think I can comfortably say that I would sacrifice my first born son for USPlabs.

We will simply except a THANK YOU.:icon_lol:

I also thank you for the trust in trying the product. Nothing ventured nothing gained..right.

I wish you the best of the best!

I agree completely USP and as long as you guys are around I'll almost indefintely use your products. I'm wondering about the REM, btw I can sleep for 10 hours (get up to take a leak once or twice) and I wake up feeling AWESOME. I'll be on it for around a month, month and 1/2 and then I'd like to give the Venom stack a shot again. However, I'm not sure I'm going to wanna drop the REM. I think you already mentioned it but could you say what would be the best amount of time to use it in terms of noting the gh raising effects on body comp ie. leaning out and tightening up? I know it's a vague question but it never hurts to ask.

Hey--

USP Labs is awesome! This is a product I definitely want to try. Deep sleep and getting to sleep is something I've always struggled with. USP Labs always has great products, and more importantly, great customer service with integrity. :)

That's great news, I was up to 6 mg of melatonin during a stressful stretch and couldn't sleep for **** without it. Definitely will hit this up once it's at a retailer's site. I like the sounds of this one.

4-6 weeks then asses the product. You may or may not want to continue.

Some beta tester noticed the FULL LEANING effect in the first 4 days.

Gotcha, I would be interested in trying it then. I'll have to give it a shot because I only get 4-5 hours max of sleep during the week. being a PT I have clients starting at 5. if I could recover more with the little sleep I get I would be very grateful. You need any more testers:D

Yeah, Im going to pick up some of this too, the results seem very positive. I have a hellova time sleeping more than 5 hours at a stretch during the week.

we sold out..retail will have it by friday but it will go fast..

Yeah I am thoroughly loving this product. It will truly be one of my staples

My sleep has never been better...I even tested the "dependency" theory last night as I didn't take my dose of REM. However, I fell asleep just as quickly, but it was not even close in the "deepness" department.

I LOVE MY REM!!!!!!!!

Incidently, my stats are now big on the side of err. Before beginning the REM, I had just come off 5 week cut with cAMP, Cissus, C2, ephedrine and my vitamins and antioxidants. Now about three weeks later (one of which I have been on REM) I am now:

These were taken today:

weight: 232 lbs
bf %: 11% :woohoo:

from a starting weight of 250 lbs and a bf % of 18% :frustrate

I feel a whole lot better about myself and health as well as more confident about being in striking distance to do my first BB show this summer(late summer-like August).

But yeah, I definitely agree with USP, that people use too many supps at one time and do not know what each one is doing and what purpose it is best suited for. It is important to research and perform trials with each supp individually, sometimes, to get the "full" effect of each supp. After doing this, one will know what supps stack well with each other to achieve whatever purpose that the user is desiring. As a matter of fact, this the process I used to devise my precontest stack consisting of USP, DS, and SNS products, aside from my year round staples consisting of a multi, antioxidants, efa's and protein...I never come off these. I am still trying to work out the dosings but I think I have a well designed, perserve all the muscle I can, natural stack on my hands...much time and energy has gone into its creation.

...Anyway REM is a definite winner and I think all should at least give one bottle a try.

I kinda feel like I should start my own log here, but I won't ;-) I'd like to add something and I hope you all dont' mind. I'm just wrapping up a little cycle of test, eq, var, mega-trn and I started the first 2 weeks with PP/SD. While I'm kind of back and forth on the whole testicular atrophy issue while using AAS/ph's I generally do and have on this cycle noticed that some days the boys seems kinda tiny and they dont' hang at all. Now it could be coincidental, but I'd figure that at this point (the end of my cycle=I've been on the longest) this issue would be at it's most noticeable. However they seem to be bigger and fulller then any other time I've been on. My sleep btw is amazing, while I still get up to take the mandatory leak, it's barely an interuption at all and I'm right back to sleep in no time.

yeah- all of the ingredients are GREAT for PCT (one for thyroid issues, one for testicular issues, and one for low test issues) , plus it helps you sleep better- research and development is fun :)
