My first review: Matrix

I recieved my Matrix samples and wanted to put in my two cents. Keep in mind that I am VERY stimulant tolerant and it usually takes some kind of pre-workout pill (either Venom/Amp or something ephedra based) plus some kind of energy drink to get me *primed*. I've been trying to decrease my stim usage so I have begun taking nootropics.

So today I started at 8:15 with:

800mg Piracetam
750mg Aniracetam
3 caps Invalid Link Removed

I ate breakfast at around 8:45:
3 egg whites
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 tbsp natural pb
1 whole wheat english muffin

Then during class, at about 10:45 I decided to try the Matrix. I knew I had a step aerobics class at 12:45 and I remember reading somewhere that I should take it 1.5-2 hours prior to working out for the main ingredients to kick in (not the caffiene). So I started with half a bottle.

Within minutes I started to feel the effects of the Matrix on my nootropics. Everything was that much more sharper, clearer, and I grasped things that required a lot of depth. I have come to the conclusion that whatever is in the Matrix is potentiated by the noots or vice versa.

So around a half hour prior to my step class I took the other half. I didn't get the twitchy, whole body high of some other stimulants (and I'm not gonna lie, I like that high) but I did feel motivation That's the only word I can use to describe the feeling... just lots and lots of motivation.

So my step teacher, she's a little bit of a sadist, and she likes to torture us and hear people whimper and integrates a lot of combos with weights that even the most dexterous of us cannot master. Today, I seemed to own all her nifty little routines though. I mean, I'm usually pretty good, but I feel like I showed her up today. My motto was "Bring it on, B*tch" and it felt like her vs. me. I did whatever she instructed beautifully, sometimes with better form than her.

It's been 2 hours since that class, but the motivation has yet to go away. If I didn't have to go to work today, I feel like I would've made significant headway into many of the long term projects I have due at the end of this year.

I know I'm supposed to drink 2 of these a day, and I'm bringing the other with me, considering I won't be back in my dorm until like 11pm. I will update more later, thanks for reading.

Okay, I probably should've mentioned I drank half the first drink then had a mini-meal about 11:30 :

Steak and black beans in ww burrito
Salad w/ light ranch dressing

Then I drank the other half prior to my workout. I have to say, I don't think this mix is potentiated by an empty stomach. I felt euphoric both when I took it several hours after eating and when I took it right after. Then I repeated my morning dosage of noots and ate another minimeal:
Half turkey/provolone sandwich
small salad w/ balsamic and EVOO

That "motivation" I described started waning about 4:30. Considering I had to be focused and organized at my first job, I debated drinking the other drink. Then I thought I might save it until about 6 or 7, so that when I arrived at my other job at the gym(which gives me computer access, and requires me to do little else than swipe cards) I would be able to get more schoolwork accomplished. But then, around 5:30 I caved because the drink really had elevated my mood considerably, althougth subtly, and I wanted that feeling again. So I drank the WHOLE bottle this time.

That focus, motivation, and yes: euphoric feeling washed over me again within 20 minutes. About an hour later I had yet another minimeal of shrimp, brown rice & beans and veggies.

Now I am at my other job and it is 10pm. I've gotten tons of schoolwork done, and the time has flown and my mood has yet to wane. In 15 minutes, i have to get up and pick up all the dumbbells that jackasses have strewn about the room, but today I don't really mind, I'm just tackling my todo list and looking forward to do the next thing.

In all, I think this drink is great and it is very synergistic with my noot stack. I'd be very interested in purchasing it, but would the good gents at IBE consider creating a powder mix instead of a RTD? This is for cost effectiveness and storage purposes in my dorm. Thanks for this opportunity.

X-force is a pill version of Matrix (if I'm not mistaken). The effects were similar for me. You might give it a try.

Thanks, I had already read your review, but I didnt know it was the same formula.

I got a sample of X-Force too. I was going to wait a couple of days and do the review for that.

No one has confirmed that it's the same formula. However, they've hinted that the two are just variations on the same formula. Subjectively, they feel like similar products.

You're female, right? If so, nice review, good going.

If not: dude, you're HARDCORE!!

Haha, yes, I'm female.

No self-respecting man would ever admit to going to step aerobics...

Not saying that they having, they just wouldn't admit it on this board.

It wasn't so much the step: I've done pilates and tons of spinning. It was more my disbelief that any guy would admit to thinking 'bring it, b*tch' about his femal step instructor.

Guys don't do step, not because it's for wimps, but because we are uncoordinated schmucks.

Nah, it's really hard. I mean it looks really hard. I bet Matrix really supports that kind of activity well.
