My first LGD-4033 log

Hi everyone,

This is my first LGD-4033 cycle. I'm taking Brawn Nutrition LGD-4033, one cap a day. That's 4mg. 60 caps in the bottle, so it should last me 2 months. I'm currently 64kg, at 162 cm. I'm aiming towards a recomp-lean bulk cycle. Some days it's kind of hard to count calories, so I plan to have one protein sparring modified fast a week ( taking only approx 900 cal in that day ). The purpose of this day is to try and control my calories intake a bit, and to make up for the days when I can't accurately track them. Should there be a bigger weight gain, I may increase the number to 2 a week.

I love to train high volume, and my body seems to respond best to that. I plan on focusing on my chest, shoulders and back ( with an accent on the traps ).

In terms of equipment, I workout at home. I have a barbell, about 130kg of weights, two supports that I use as a squat rack, and a bench ( which is somewhat flimsy and not entirely trustworthy ).

Day 1:
Weight: 64.3

I took LGD after I had breakfast in the morning. I had really good energy at the workout. It's probably way too soon for it to have any effect, so I'm guessing it was mostly placebo. This is what I've trained:

Bent Over Barbell Row:
30kg x 10reps
50kg x 10reps x 10 sets

Barbell Hack Squat:
50kg x 10reps x 10sets
 
Day 2:

Weight: 66.3kg ( attributed mostly to the water weight from eating popcorn last night at the movies ).
Energy level is great at all times, and I feel very good before and during workouts.
One thing that I notice is that I'm less hungry than usual.

Today's workout, guillotine bench press, 15 sets:

30kg x 10reps
45kg x 9reps x 3 sets
45kg x 8reps x 2 sets
45kg x 7reps x 2 sets
45kg x 6reps x 2 sets
40kg x 8reps
40kg x 7reps x 2 sets
30kg x 10reps x 2 sets

Bent Over Barbell Row

Weight: 66.3kg

Today's gonna be a rest day, lower calories, and a bit of cardio.
demonfox, it's kind of rare that I workout twice a day, but the 2nd session is usually lighter.
 
Isn't 10-15 sets of 10reps each high volume? Could you please give an example workout? I only have a barbell available at home...

Yesterday was not the cleanest eating day. Today I will be travelling, so most likely I will not be able to train.

Weight: not known, don't have access to a scale. I'll be at a hotel until next saturday, and I'm using their facilities. Energy levels are pretty good, and I don't feel anything bad.

Day 12

I've noticed for the past few days that when I wake up I feel an extreme ( almost painful ) hunger. Will post workout later.

Seated barbell curls
10kg x 10reps x 10sets
 
I think I read it somewhere that lgd increases ghrelin which would result in increase in hunger. I'm not 100% sure if it was lgd or some other sarm. May be mk677? But definitely not osta
 
Might explain it. I'm only on lgd, and quite low dosage (4mg). Strange enough, it manifests only in the mornings. The rest of the day I have average hunger feelings
 
Also as a side note, both my chest and traps look bigger than ever. Not sure they would qualify as progress pics yet, but I will post some tomorrow.

I havnt heard of lgd having an effect on ghrelin; mk definitely.

Sure thing. Muscle fullness is great, I would say. Besides the painful hunger first thing in the morning, no side effects at all. I have a ton of energy, and the boys are great :)

Awesome bro...one more thing...are you running an AI along side. I have eliminate on hand but if I don't need it, I don't wanna waste it.
 
Nope, just the LGD. It's one cap per day. The recommended maximum on the bottle is 3caps/24h. I figured that in a future cycle I will try to increase it to 2 or 3 caps a day. Since it's my first time using a SARM, I decided to start slow.

Day 15

Surprising enough, it was the first day without feeling pain because of the hunger. Feeling really good, nice pumps during workout

Day 16
Weight: 69.7 , so I'm about 3.5kg heavier compared to when I started. Energy is great all the time. I will post the workout later.
 
Also, my recovery is pretty great. I didn't even fish oil in the past week, and I'm barely even sore anymore. I'm always looking forward for the workouts.
 
Day 17
Weight: 71.7

I'm gonna give a break to the whole dirty bulking thing. I'm going to my town today, and I'll finally be able to have more control over what I eat. At least for the next 2 weeks, I will be eating a lot cleaner, and hopefully with a lot less fat. Today's workout was very short, as I have to get ready for flying back.
Did 15 sets x 10reps x 14kg seated barbell curls.
 
Day 18
Weight: 70.4

I took some measurements when I started the log, with my orbitape, but I didn't post them yet. Here are the values from 18 days ago:

Navel: 81
Chest: 94.5
Shoulders: 109.3

And values of today:
Navel: 84
Chest: 99
Shoulders: 111.3

So, I guess the chest progress is measurable, as well as the increase of my belly size. Results of dirty bulking, I guess. Will post workout later.
