You do realize it is spiked, right?

Honestly, I don't know what you mean by "spiked". What does that mean and is it good, bad or neither? I am new to most of what is posted in all the forums. Trying to learn though

I'd be careful with throwing the spiked around, not saying it is or isn't but I haven't seen any lab tests on it to confirm. I realize aminos are on the label but aminos on label do not mean it doesn't meet protein requirements jus sayinnnnn

Unless uve seen lab tests I haven't

Amino spiking means they used cheap aminos like glycine & taurine to inflate the protein on the label but still charge you the higher protein prices per pound. Some proteins being tested now have less than 50% of the stated protein on the label due to spiking.

With the topic of protein at hand, may I ask what is recommended for a good protein supplement and why it is recommended as good? I would like to use products that are effective and efficient would be a nice perk

Things to look for;
80% whey concentrate on the label
Milk protein Isolate
No added aminos, creamers, or creatine
No added maltodextrin

Basically PES Select Protein. :D

edit: I should add that I've also enjoyed using USPlabs OxyElite Protein. First Vanilla that I ever liked.

Id also recommend CL's PROnom 23 with the others. We have 3rd party lab testing as well.

There's a sample request thread in the Controlled Labs section if you want to try.

The only proteins I get these days are:

PES Select (great profile, and PES is legit)
USPLabs OxyElite Protein (I believe they brought up the amino spiking issue first, and the profile looks great)
Controlled Labs ProNom (there's some lab results around here somewhere proving it's not spiked and stuff. tastes great too)
TrueNutrition (I just buy this stuff in bulk to save money on the high shipping cost)

EDIT: ProNom labs were posted up above.

Might as well post up some of my favorite supplements/staples:

Black Lion Research Follidrone/Olympus Labs Ep1c
Mass Pro Synthagen
PES Norcodrene
BPS DCP 2.0
BPS Adrenosurge
EBF Recompadrol

PES Select/CL ProNom/USP OxyElite Protein
Controlled Labs Orange Triad
Controlled Labs Orange Oximega
Creatine (I use SNS, but any will do)

SAN, Cellucor, and Universal and good too.

I thought this worked well when I used it a year or so ago

SAN, Cellucor, and Universal and good too.

Agreed with SAN as well. I've used SAN Titanium Whey in the past (I loved Chocolate Graham Cracker), but I like blends which is why I didn't include any pure Whey Proteins.. Never tried Cellucor or Universal though.

I think you are correct. Use Hyde now and feel Hyde is much better

I got a couple sample packets of Hyde, I liked it a lot !

My favourite supplement, no joke is Amentoflavone. It makes me so damn happy.

Think I'm slowly coming to this realization!
Any advice on best ways used had success using it? I've only experienced in Norcodrene this far.
Dosing as stand alone? What's it safe to combine with in terms of stimulants/caffeine etc.
Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you. I prefer blends also, but have some whey on hand for a change of pace. SAN does have a blend, it is called Metaforce. It has soy, which turns people off though. But it is a very cost effective protein.

I know the way Protein Factory markets this makes it look like a gimmick, but I really like the stuff. It was a dark day when it disappeared last year. Glad to have it back. Blood protein, who couldn't think that's cool!
