Two Telford Women Arrested For Filing A False Report

Two Telford women were arrested Thursday on charges of Filing A False report after both reported to Washington County Authorities that they had been raped.
29-year-old Tammy Ortego and 18 year old Jessica Alexander, both of 255 Browning Road, told Washington County Deputies that they had gone outside the residence to check on barking dogs.
Once outside, the two stated they were thrown down by two men and raped.
The two later told deputies that they had met a man on a telephone chat line, and offered to meet him for sex in exchange for a pack of cigarettes.
According to a Washington County Sheriff's Department release, the two met the man, then decided to file a rape report because they didn't enjoy the sex.
Oretego's bond was set at $10,000 while bond for Alexander was set at $5000. Both are due in court this morning.
