Muscle publications Which one is numer uno

This has probably been done before but I couldnt find it.

Those of you who read muscle mags which one is your favorite..

I buy them all like a fool but im addicted and here is how I would rate them..

Muscular Development-absolute best #1 this mag is the ****

Muscle Mag-#2

Ironman-#3

Flex-#3 (but getting better)

Muscle + Fitness Last this one IMO has really fallen off it appears they are getting away fom hard core muscle..

Any others im not aware of please chime in,and if this type of thread has been around before I apologise..NOT :rofl:

I don't like any of them. I find the most reliable and readable information on the web to be honest. Bryan Haycock's Think Muscle newsletter is nice. PubMed and Scirus always have studies I haven't read.
 
I was unaware of those two newsletters,but I will have to check them out.::)

I was hoping this thread would bring out info like that....thank's
 
AST'S MAGAZINE HIGH PERFORMANCE MUSCLE IS GOOD IN MY OPINION. AT LEAST IT IS HONEST WITH SAYING IT IS AST'S MAGAZINE, UNLIKE MUSCLETECHS MAGS.
 
I dislike them all now, unfortunately. MD is hardcore and informative, IRONMAN was a favorite, but now I just cant stomach the horrible formatting, and the Muscletech-type "special 50 page ad-info report" every other page, full of over hyped half-truths and b.s. sales pitch nonsense. It's truly annoying and insulting, because how do you take the tidbits of info you can uncover seriously if they are presented by the same people who are allowing you to believe that Nitro-tech and Cell-tech are 5000% more anabolic than steak and eggs, and that that's what makes all those juiced pros look like that? I hate to bitch, but I used to really like those mags, so really I'm just sniveling...

I agree about the web, but you gotta read something while you are on the toilet( espessially when you using try-max):think:
 
The biggest thing I hate is you start reading what you thinks looks like a good article and then 3 pages later it turns out to be an add for Hydroxycut or something, which is a wast of money IMO...
 
The only one I buy is MD and Men's Heath, (if you want to call the latter a musclemag). I really thought MD was the bible for a while, but the last few issues feels like its going downhill. I don't remember so many muscletech ads before the last couple of months. I read on some board that Bruce Kneller, one of the writers who wrote about prosteroids said that he was fired because muscletech said they were going to pull their ads if he didn't stop talking about their competetors products so much.

It doesn't matter tho, I'll keep buying it no matter whats in it as long as the Ramblin' Freak keeps writing. :)
