Several mentions of Boondock Saints in this thread. BS 2 is coming out this year... 10 years after the release of the first one. First one bombed theatrically but became a DVD cult success. Those are the director's only 2 films which is bizarre because he was only 28 when he wrote AND directed the first. Obviously he is talented.

that was on earlier.
Section 8.

yea I saw it on earlier,... great movie.

more:
Children of Men( not really a BB,.. I know a lot of ppl who didnt see it til video)

V for Vendetta
Dawn of the dead
hitman
Defiance (very underrated movie.. very good)

Anything with Jason Stratham in it.
That guy is seriously tough in his movies.

That guy is seriously tough in his movies.

His effort at anything other than the english geezer accent is tough on the audience too.

See his "American" accent in Jet Li's The One if you have any doubt. :frustrate

CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE

Holy hell, that movie is INSANE. If you love action movies, ridiculous over the top violence, random gratuitious nudity, and crass humor, you have to see this. It didn't do so great in the box office, but it's out on DVD now so watch it.

Way better than the first Crank, they took it to the extreme with this one.

So many good ones!

Fearless Vampire Killers - is just hysterically funny (Roman Polanski - Sharon Tate's last movie)
Groundhog Day
Fight Club
Donnie Darko
Lone Star
Cushingura (story of the 47 Ronin)
Rashomon
Baron Munchausen
Kung-Fu Hustler
Last Dragon
Usual Suspects
Buckaroo Banzai
Incredibles
Shadow of the Vampire (watch it after Nostferatu)
The Haunting (original b+w)
Village of the Damned (another b+w British creepshow from the early 60s)
Dead of Night (episodic British creepshow from the early 60s)
My Name is Bruce
A Soldier's Story
Brain Donors (John Turturro does Grouch???)
Noises Off!
'V' for Vendetta

...more to come?

Point Break
From the Hip
The Basketball Diaries
Donnie Brasco

I`m blanking on the name but Milla Jovovic as Joan of Arc

The Delicate Art of Parking
Grave of the Fireflies
JCVD
When the Last Sword is Drawn
Irreversible
The Power of Nightmares
Blood and Oil

Ive just watched Dawn of the dead(newest one) 5 times within the past week, lol. Im a sucker for zombie flicks. Yet almost everyone who I have mentioned it to says it was an "okay" movie, nothing special.

I loved that movie. I saw it 4 times at the movies hahahah.

Chainsaws, dead babies, Burt Reynolds getting his head blown off... What's not to love about that flick?

2004 Dawn of the Dead was good. No doubt inspired by 28 Days Later as far as frenetic zombies and the agitated style they were filmed. Otherwise did justice to George A. Romero. The Jim Carroll song at the end was a good touch.

Pumping Iron
The Running Man
anything with Arnold is entertaining to watch
Man what about arnie in Stay Hungry, also had Sally fields in it, Gidgit buck necked.

my recent fav is the WACKNESS, this flick is dope( had to be said watch the movie you'll see)

Grandma's Boy & Superbad.

These movies are classics! Superbad is the funniest, most craziest movie I've ever seen! Also, how about the first Jackass? The next day my stomach HURT like a bitch from LOL so much.
