So sometimes (like today) I lose motivation and don’t go in to the gym and it kills me for two reasons really. I didn’t workout and it messes up my schedule. I do PPL and it’s usually the regular setup and rest on the weekends. Now I’ve been doing it like this:
Mon: push
Tues: pull
Wed: rest
Thurs: legs
Fri:rest
Sat:push
Sun:pull and so on.
Anyways, how’s that for a split and what do you guys do for motivation?

Sometimes when you don’t feel motivated,it might be lack of sleep, nutrients, and overtraining.

I like listening to Makaveli motivation a lot. Good stuff. I haven’t been sleeping well and I train very hard so maybe that’s it too.

Sometimes we just need a break. Take off for a good week and stay semi strict on food. Get good sleep, go do things that you enjoy doing outside of the gym and stay hydrated. You may he surprised by how you feel.

Also, changing up your routine to something completely different would be a good idea. Something like DC training gives you more rest days.
