All these studies related to the original post, are about HMB-CA. FA is too expensive in my book, so I don't follow it. The reason for the post is that you can get a YEAR of HMB-CA for about $50 and there are now about 4-5 positive outcomes for it. It's a staple (cheap enough and effective for continuous use).
Any thoughts on megadosing Ca-HMB? I read that it has a relatively high no adverse event observed level (in mice/rats) in one of the earlier posted studies. I think it would be interesting to try maybe 15-20g/day but have not heard of people taking much more than 6g or so thus far.
