High rep leg work today.

Legs cramped HARD about ten minutes ago. So bad in fact that my knee caps hurt. Some tears may have been shed.

Got a bottle of rubbing alcohol beside me soaking these babies down.

I've always been told it helps reduce cramps. I dunno if it REALLY works but since I started using it on cramping areas the cramps go away and don't tend to come back.

Never knew that about using alcohol. Will definitely give that a try!

On a side note I'm about a week into extremely low carbs. Weight hasn't dipped a whole bunch but adding my joint supps back in probably makes that difference.

In another night or two I'll get a nice little carb up. Thinking I'll do about 1200g Thursday night. Never done a big carb up like that so it'll be a learning experience about my body. Fat free Fig Newtons and confetti pancakes......Yeah buddy.

I hate you all. I'm around 180-210g of carbs, only peri workout to :,(.

Question for.you Monte. How long do you diet before you feel the need to refeed??
 
Daaaaaamn I'd feel terrible eating all that. I understand it's performance first, but I'd rather have 2 600 days than a 1200. I'd get about 800 in and seriously start questioning my resolve.

I've never done a refeed this big befits before but, three days after hitting keto I'll do a refeed then repeat.

It was a struggle, especially while keeping the fats low. Next refeed won't be as big.
 
Is Hungry Jack better than Aunt Jemima Complete? I just add a couple scoops of protein powder to them and good to go. When I eat pancakes I'm usually not worried about carbs. Just curious if HJ taste better than AJ.

AJ complete, is where you just add water? To that, you just add 2 scoops of protein and any extra water?
 
Yep. Cook them on a griddle and only flip once. Wife has the consistency down pat. She makes them quite often for herself. About the only protein she gets is from the powder... Or if we have seafood, she'll eat some of that. Have to be careful which powder you use. She uses Oxyelite.
 
I don't know if I've ever tasted a difference in bagged/powdered pancakes. Biscuick, AJ, HJ, etc.
 
Guess I'm weird or something .... because I never crave pancakes or anything sweet really. Don't have much of a sweet/carb tooth. Now a huge greasy bacon cheesburger ..... that I crave ;)

Good thing that's not around me! My two favorite items... Haven't had a Krispy Kreme in years... I could eat a dozen without blinking an eye and then pass out 20 minutes later from the sugar crash. But man it would be worth it!!!

I watched a kid in highschool, I kid you not, get stoned and proceed to eat an entire baker's dozen KK donuts....and he was awake and moving around the same afterward for hours like it was nothing. I've had 3 once...and I nearly yakked. Idk how he did it; not like he was 300lbs or anything.

yeah Tim hortons is the balls. Their coffee is always good. I prefer dunkins doughnuts to tims but just slightly. Just imagine a nice half pound beef paddy with bacon between two tims doughnuts. That sounds good. F kk!

Dunkin Donuts coffee is good, but when I was in Myrtle Beach I tried a donut there and didnt think they were as good as tims.

And ok ok... 2 double chocolate donuts with that beef paddy and your on! lol

Agreed. DD's sweet coffees are pretty legit, but there donuts are leagues behind Krispy Kreme (no brag, just fact).

I blend it up with a splash of water and a little coconut flour to stiffen it then pan fry it like a pancake.

Db curls 25'sx12 :P

Low carbs have been in effect for at but strength is great still. Weight is climbing actually. Sitting around 232 from 228 so that's good since I'm leaning up. Weeee
