Money/Protein ratio help

Yeah inconsistent with the chicken I guess at both places
I usually get chicken from Bjs
20 bucks for 10 pound bag Perdue or Tyson

My wife likes Perdue non frozen. It's good but pricey. I usually grab the Kroger brand fresh chicken breasts. Nice and fat pieces full of hormones and injected with juice. Not a ton of fat to discard when I bake it, usually it's about $2.50/pound. Last time, my wife bought a bag of frozen Kroger chicken, and it wasn't as good as the fresh I didn't think.

Hate to sound like a snob but only purchase the organic, hormone free chicken breasts and for whole chicken only Murrays which is free range. Do not care for the chickens from chicken mills. Same with eggs, Organic from free range chicken only. Higher choline value in those than from the egg factories.

Well my $0.02.

Same reason for protein powder only purchase the top tier product. Remember that famous unofficial test from a few years ago about fillers in protein?
