Seems like there quite a few baseball fans here on the board, so here's a place to discuss the most exciting time of the year! Really hoping the Cubs can bounce back today, but overall that Mets pitching staff is gonna be a tough road for whomever they play.
 
I do like baseball, but it takes a lot for me to actually watch a game, let alone a series. However, this Cub and Cards series is very entertaining. There are so many lead changes in each game
 
I'm pulling for the Cubs to keep doing well right up until the end, so when they blow it, the heartbreak will be that much sweeter! :)
 
Agreed. If the nets starters throw like they did and the home plate umps give them those low and out calls they'll be damn tough to beat. I still haven't heard...what's the news on Cespedes' shoulder?
 
Mets are definitely hot, royals are pesky though. Should be an interesting series. Let's see if Murphy can keep mashing, unbelievable
 
Murphy is a beast. Wouldn't mind him going to the White Sox...not saying that would be all we need to help win, but it would be a nice start lol

The list is long of players that were supposed to turn things around. Maybe once they start focusing on the team instead of individuals, things will come back together. Until then we just keep remembering 2005 lol
 
Yea, I thought Beckham was gonna b the man. Sox have some studs, Murphy would fit in nicely
