I don't know much about the scientific aspect of MK but I have read about the congestive heart failure in elderly subjects and the side effect of your body retaining water on MK. So is there the possibility of MK677 causing pulmonary edema, aka fluid in the lungs? I have been on a 12.5 mg a day dose every morning and have noticed I am coughing a bit and producing some mild mucous from the cough. I am not noticing and swelling in my hands or feet and really have no other negative sides. Maybe I'm just being paranoid due to the fact that I had severe pneumonia once and it was the worst pain i ever experienced. Also my breathing is fine, I'm not short of breath or anything.
