Minimal training to maintain

Due to life circumstances beyond my control, my time to workout has became next to non existent. Horrendous work schedule, toddler aged twins. Initially I thought I would be able to "get in" workouts as time permitted, or didn't permit on a day to day basis. This doesn't work for me mentally. I can't go from caring for kids, and maintaining house, to working out when they decide to nap. I need to have planned workout sessions. Length and frequency of workouts will be very limited. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Maintaining strength is the main goal. To make matters worse between Saturday at 530am through Monday 9pm I get a total of 10-12 hours of sleep.

2 for certain. Times of workouts will not be optimal, after a full day before going to bed on both occasions.

You'll want to incorporate full body workouts and I'd split into heavy/low-mid volume, and a high volume day. Try to get in some interval training in-between as you can squeeze in 15-20 min and be effective. Diet will be key to keep strength and gains during this time of less activity.

The key is to stay on it. When you start stripping away days and time due to schedules, it can snowball into dropping more time, then a day and then all of a sudden you aren't doing much and it's hard to get back. As a father of 2 young ones, a crazy work/life schedule, and committed to my active life, I can tell you that it's hard yet very doable.
