MindFk preworkout by Mutant - Mini Log

Big thanks to @cheftepesh1 for sending over some samples! I feel truly honored as this is my first opportunity to log a product here on AM.

I was sent 7 packets of Mutant's MindFk preworkout, along with a sample of Madness preworkout, gEAAr, and a trial packet of their Hardcore Whey.

I ran the first packet yesterday of MindFk, so this post comes a bit late. My general idea of how to log this will be the following:
  • Taste
  • Time until the supplement is "felt"
  • Effects, including initial/intra-workout/post-workout.
  • Effects on rest and recovery (sleep and next morning).

I just want to say that the ingredient profile is a fully disclosed label, and is basically fully loaded and at amazing dosages.
I will use these samples over the next couple weeks, and document my experience each time! Thank you!

In for this

As stated in my original post, my first experience using the MindFk preworkout was yesterday. Im a bit late getting to this review today. Hope everyone had a great July 4th!

To start with, I had a solid 8 - 8.5hrs sleep before running this. I was already feeling pretty good upon waking :)

- Taste: decided to start with the Tropical Punch. This is a fantastic flavor, and has a strong pineapple and strawberry(?) taste, and it is also somewhat "creamy" so maybe there is some coconut in there too. If Im honest, it reminded me of one of the older "SoBe" style drinks in a weird way. It gets a 9/10 from me for sure, and I dont typically pay much mind to flavor!

- Time to being felt: I drank 75% of the drink on empty stomach; chugged the remaining 25% after consuming a protein bar. Tingling started at literally 10 minutes post-consumption, energy came in 40 minutes post consumption.

- Effects:
(Initial) Hands down the first thing you will feel is the Beta Alanine, and this is some STRONG tingling. I've only felt the tingles this strong on only one other preworkout and its label was nowhere as stacked as this one. Anytime I can feel the tingling on my toes, I know its going to be an interesting time. Energy came in slowly, I am guessing because this preworkout has Paraxanthine instead of Caffeine. It isnt a slap of energy, it comes in like a slow but steady tide, gradually increasing.
(Intra) The energy is consistent. The focus mid-workout is.. definitely there. But it is different than what I am used to from a pre. This preworkout makes me feel like "Im here to do what I KNOW I need to do". It isnt necessarily motivated focus, but more like.. "I am destined to lift this weight, and push more". It is a strange feeling, almost like an "intuitive" sense of action.. but this was my first time using paraxanthine in any product. This product is loaded with choline and AlphaGPC, I think this is what really shines here. And holy crap, I didnt notice the pumps at first but halfway through my set they were DEFINITELY apparent. No need for adding any pump formula or extras, its covered completely! To note, I worked on arms and did some shoulder accessory movements. I worked out for roughly 75 minutes.
(Post) The energy was consistent for about 4 hours after the workout, then tapered down nicely. I had a nice mental clarity that lasted for several hours after the workout, that was a nice added bonus.

- Effects on Rest and Recovery: When I went to bed I was absolutely exhausted from the workout and the fact it was a long day for the holiday, and had no trouble sleeping at all. I woke up this morning feeling well rested.

So to sum up my first run with MindFk, it was a very pleasant experience. The thing I like most about this, is that there's no "shaky" body energy, it doesnt blast you with stims. It was a very smooth ride and has a great sustained energy, provides a very noticeable focus element, and fantastic pumps.

Looking forward to using it again and trying the different flavors!

Good to hear! Now a days I feel more people would choose this over being stimmed out heavy.

I use a good amount of stims both for workouts and work. The long term ones are always better than the cracked out feeling.

Had a chance to use the Blue Raspeberry yesterday!

Taste: Blue Raspeberry is one of my favorites, so this was automatically a 10/10 for me. It was spot on, not overly sweet but just right!

Time until it was felt:
On an empty stomach, the Beta Alanine came on QUICK, in under 10 minutes, and the energy was soon behind at the 20 minute mark.

Effects:
(Initial) - Once again, I must state the Beta Alanine on this product is super strong. If you dont like itching feeling, then this may not be a product for you. Maybe it was because I drank the preworkout on an empty stomach and then ate a protein bar 10-15 minutes after, but holy crap the tingling on this was almost uncomfortable even for me, and I love beta alanine. This alone had me squirming wanting to move.
(Intra) - This was my first day back to deadlifting in a couple months. There was a definite steady energy, I was able to focus very well on the muscles being involved. I had no issue engaging the hamstrings and glutes, and ultimately had a great leg day. I did some triceps as well, skullcrushers and cable extensions. The citrulline and nitrosigene really shines when doing any type of arm movement, I've noticed with this pre, just for me personally.
(Post) - After the gym, I was thoroughly worn out, but had very good mental clarity for the rest of the day. Even had enough energy to go back to the gym with a friend in the evening and do an hour of cardio. I did notice I wasn't as hungry after the gym. Not sure if the pre contributed to this overall, but it was an observation. Even with crazy stim pres Im usually able to eat.

Effects on rest and recovery:
Slept pretty well, no real side effects to note on sleep and recovery.

So far the blue raspberry is my favorite. I can't wait to try the peach!

Can't go wrong with Blue Raspberry! Probably my second go to flavor outside of it any product has rocket pop that's my go to.

Hard to go wrong with rocket pop either!

I find that mutants flavors are pretty good. I
Like that they don’t over sweeten them. It’s there but not to much.

Ok back at it again! With a couple updates :)

Tried the sour peach on wednesday!

Taste: To me its got a sour kick, as the name implies, but just the right amount. Peach is a good flavor, not my favorite, but still pretty tasty. After trying the three flavors, I can definitely say the Blue Raspberry is my favorite!

Time until it was felt: Downed the drink, before having my typical pre gym protein bar. Started to kick in roughly 10-15 minutes with the Beta Alanine tingling, strong like the other flavors. Energy and focus came in around half hour mark.

Effects
Initial - Just like the other flavors, the Beta tingles are strong. Im not sure what was different about this time, but I did have an upset stomach from about 10-45 minutes post consumption.
Intra - the energy onset was smooth, and after the stomach ache subsided it was a smooth, but sustained ride. I was able to crank out 20 reps with a weight Id normally could only get for 15 on the hammer strength low row machine.
Post - I had energy after leaving the gym, after doing approximately 75mins of weight training. I developed a bit of a headache as well, but that could be due to other reasons outside of the prewrokout. Went home and cleaned up the house, took a shower and even went back to the gym for cardio later on around 8pm. So a productive day overall.

Effects on rest and recovery - I got good sleep that night (just over 8 hours) and noted no negatives.

Also to note! I was sent a packet of the Hardcore Whey, the chocolate milkshake flavor. Lately ive been cautious about whey in general as certain types and brands really mess with my stomach 💩. I took this hoping it would be positive. And it was! No gas, bloating, or sharting. The taste was good, it was somewhat "light" and not heavy tasting, if that makes sense. After checking the packet, I think the lactase addition to the ingredients is what really helped me with this product.

Tomorrow I plan on using the packet of Madness preworkout and the EAA supplement! Will report soon

Thanks!

I just saw my email notifications!

The last month or so has had me running circles. I think I'll hold off due to schedule.

I will say the gEAAr tasted really good! I did eventually use the madness preworkout, and it had a good kick of energy, but didnt last as long as the mindfvck. I still have some of the mindfvck packets, I will definitely be reporting back all the final thoughts!

Awesome thank you
