MindFK Nootropic Pre-workout by Mutant! (Mini Log)

31. 5'10" and 196lbs. Been cutting very slowly since June. Had a few injuries and then shipped off to night shift so the pounds added on over time. Started at 235lbs in June so I'm happy with the progress. Lifts still going up surprisingly.

With that being said I'm dealing with shoulder impingement so I'm having to alternate my routine heavily. I was chosen to be sent some samples and was happy to try Mind Fk by Mutant. I have 5 samples of it so this will be a mini 5 day log. I've been taking preworkout since the original Jack3D so I'm decently experienced with them.

Day 1

Mixed a full scoop about 15 minutes before training. (I usually drink my pre and then walk to the gym)

~30 minutes in I started feeling a slight alert feeling— not shaky or jittery, more like I just had a good coffee and was ready to roll.

Warm-ups felt pretty easy. When I hit my first set, I noticed a bit of that muscle connection immediately between my brain and my legs.

As I got into the session: focus was sharp, felt more connected to each rep.

By the end of the workout, I was still dialed in — energy hadn’t crashed. Pump lasted. I left the gym feeling satisfied and was content.

Now, here's the kicker and something I might have to adjust. I could still feel the preworkout building as I ended my leg workout. I got home and it was still in full effect which was wild to me. I went home and probably did 4 loads of laundry and even baked a pie for my girlfriend's dad 🤣 Apparently the effects are a bit delayed on me and I might have to take this pre an hour before working out vs 15-20 minutes.

Any jitters or eventual crash?
To be honest I didn't notice any. I slept like a baby last night though. I posted the log today but day one was actually yesterday. I had everything typed and saved in my notes app.

Day 2 —

I took the packet about 45 minutes before working out this time .

The whole workout felt calm but powerful — not chaotic energy, but steady drive. Sets flowed nicely.

Felt like I had better endurance: I pushed through some of the heavier lifts without feeling the usual early fatigue.

Concentration stayed locked — no spacing out or wandering focus. Good “mind-muscle” connection.

Afterwards: pumps still noticeable, muscles felt tighter, and I left the gym with good energy.

Once again I noticed that I wanted to do stuff around the house for a few hours afterwards.

Day 3

Was a bit worn out before the gym (I worked night shift and got off at 6am after a 12 hour shift)

Took the sample about 45 minutes before gym.

The pump was very noticeable — blood flow felt intense. Reps felt smoother, and I had better control through the full range of motion.

Mid-workout energy stayed fairly even; no drops or “lag” even on tougher sets.

Walked out feeling solid — good strength, good pump, felt like I could’ve gone a bit longer if time allowed.

Mixed in some calisthenics as well during this workout.

I posted a review for a sample packet. Your thoughts mirror mine. Great pwo for certain workouts!

Day 4

Packet 45 minutes prior to gym. Struggling due to lack of sleep and hatred for night shift.

Still got a mild noticeable boost: energy was there, focus fine, but less “pumped up.” Felt clean.

Had a bit of a lighter workout today due to shoulder impingement.

Good nervous-system feel, not too amped. Left feeling awake and steady. Better mood leaving the gym than before getting there.

Really thankful I don't have to do a night shift for work. I would struggle for sure!

I have seniority for day shift but we are just super short and also politics are involved. I'm dying on the inside lmao

I went from working mostly nights to working mostly days. It’s weird the change.

Day 5 and final day

Full scoop before a heavier lift day. Warm-up felt crisp, and by the time I hit first real set I felt pretty locked in — focus, energy, and drive all aligned.

Pump was pretty good.

Even on later sets, I didn’t have that usual “burn-out” feeling; energy and focus stayed high. Could tell I was more efficient and dialed in.

Finished strong, felt heavy but controlled, and walked out feeling like I got a “peak” session in. Good mood afterward, no big crash or bounce-down.

Overall I'm a fan! I usually use non-stims due to me always drinking energy drinks and coffee, but this is a very nice change of pace .
