pulmonary oil microembolism (POME) is an acute (eg, <60 minute onset) reaction to injection of an oil-based compound and has been reported as an adverse event related to testosterone preparations formulated in oil.

I've been injecting test for over 10 years now. This year this started happening to me like almost every time I inject now. It doesn't happen when I hit my shoulders but my glutes it happens like 9/10 times. I think maybe cause of scar tissue or whatever who knows. It still freaks me about but apparently it's considered a normal side effect (I literally had to get up and hack my @$$ off as I'm typing it's normal LOL) feels like I'm dying. I've seen guys on trt forums complaining about this as well as FTM trannys who take test. Anyone on here dealing with this? Are my glutes completely done for? I've never even tried tren before because I was always afraid of tren cough but now I get it from test lmao. I hate this I literally freak out every time I inject. Is there any trick to avoid this?
 
Swap to subq and/or really focus on aspirating the syringe. Only ever had an issue one time in over 10 years.
reminder if you go to subq you will probably need to adjust pin frequency because you can’t pin as much oil
 
I would doubt its due to scar tissue, if anything inj into scar tissue would decrease the incidence of the sort of reaction youre having (scar tissue is mainly fatty tissue).

When you say "glutes" does this include ventroglute? Your moms a nurse yeah? Maybe get her to show you where the VG is.

My mom is dead now unfortunately but I think I've been going into the ventro. At least I've been trying to. I go into the upper outer quadrant but I'm going way far into the upper left like more than usual because I was expecting it to be a better outcome but I'm getting the cough still

I'm wondering if it's because I'm doing 3 CC's at a time? Maybe because it's so much oil it's a higher chance of this happening? What if I was doing more shots with less oil? Also on a side note I drank my grandmother's percolated coffee today and it shot me into a different reality and I hit a new PR in the gym today lol

Interesting you ask that. So originally I had my test at 1000mg and the primo was at 500 plus 300EQ and I felt like complete crap! Super tired really bad lethargy, no energy in the gym like literally sick. I decided to drop the EQ entirely and cut the test down to 500 and bring the Primo to 400 and now I feel amazing. I'm not super strong like I feel like I'm juiced up or anything but I just feel good. My energy is good my workouts are great and I think I lost maybe a bit of water. My girl says my face looks thinner. Honestly I'm not expecting massive gains on this my lately my workouts have been great so if I can get the scale climbing and looking lean I'll be happy. At some point in January I'll be joining the big boys and trying tren. Gonna start low tho I'd say 100mg a week tops

Whoa that's crazy you brought that up because I was going to say it would be really good if you added some eq to that, I'm thinking about doing a similar cycle in October of next year. Glad it's going well let me know how the tren goes at 100 probably going to be doing some this spring and was going to start around 100-150 as well

So what I been thinking is adding tren at a low dose because I'm scared of all the health problems plus mk677 which jacks up your natty growth hormone. It's the next best thing besides actual growth. In fact, I think I'm gonna add the mk677 to my test and primo and just keep it at that and see if I get the results I want. Honestly don't really wanna take tren unless I feel hopeless. I think I can get to where I want without it so we'll see. Also as far as bloodwork goes everything is fine. My only issue right now is there damn microembolism coughing fits
