Don’t worry too much, if you were prescribed it then I’d imagine you need it and would benefit from clearing up your lungs/airway. Dexamethasone would be another story, Dex actually suppressed me a good deal before. Prednisolone, methylated or not has not caused low t or suppression sides for me. Dex can very quickly if you’re anything like me. But it also depends on how long you take it, good thing about methyl pred is that doctors almost always prescribe a tapering pack which helps. It’s a lot more forgiving about your concerns than dex which they will have you take 4 or 6mg and not taper, at least not my docs. Good to have on hand for COVID too.
