Methyl-1,4-ADD worth buying?

I've seen this on a few sites. I ran a search on it and got some info on it. My question is do you think its worth buying? I have some hdrol, trn, zol, sdrol and phera, but is this compound better than the methyls like hdrol, sdrol and phera? Just wondering what some experienced users might think
 
This is the prohormone for Dianabol (DBol). It was very effective, and some actually liked it better than DBol.

I felt terrible on it. Puts weight on you like nothing else, but I had lots of sides..shortness of breath mainly and some anxiety.
 
I think the people who liked it better than DBol have never run DBol.

how can something that is 8% Dbol (or whatever the conversion is) be better than 100% Dbol?

that is like saying that: the precursor to M1,4add is better than M1,4add which is better than Dbol. Or the andro patch is better than synthetic Testosterone. makes no sense to me
 
I agree, though there was some discussion that the Dbol precursor or precursors were anabolic in and of themselves. I tend to believe that to some extent as I got tremendous bloating out of 50 mg dosing. I won't compare the effects to Dbol as I have run that before.

The reasons some liked it better than Dbol, I don't know. Maybe less sides, maybe the legality, a better since of well-being than dbol, I dont remember. I'm not sure where you came up with 8%, as it is a -diol. 4-Adiol converted about 3x more than 4-Adione (15.76% vs. 5.61%). Add to it that this is a methyl, meaning more of it will make it's way to the blood intact than other prohormones (such as 4-Adiol), and that could lead to an even higher conversion rate. I think the precursor analogy was a bit stretched.

Bio is right, that it was thought that some of the prohormones had anabolic/androgenic activity themselves (usually the -diols). Perhaps they share similar metabolites. Many received similar bloat to dbol, and the dbol bloat is thought to be from estrogen conversion... M1,4ADD being a -diol, should not aromatize... Something to think about.

I myself am not calling either one better than the other, as I have ran neither. I was simply responding with info to the initial post with anecdotal info I have read from the hundreds of threads and articles on this site and others.
 
anyone know why -diols dont supposedly aromatize? i've never questioned that, but i'm curious where it comes from.

Diols are alcohols with an -OH goup while diones are ketones with the C=O (ketone) group. The double bond of the ketone breaks to make the aromatic ring characteristic of estrogen.
 
I'm no chemist, but I believe it has something to do with the hydroxyl group's resistance to aromatase/lack of 3-keto (needed to aromatize). In the diols (di=2, ol=hydroxyl), the hydroxyl groups of these hormones are in the 3 and 17 position, meaning they lack a 3-keto group (or something close to that).

I remember Pat Arnold explaining the 3-keto group being needed for aromatizing way back in the day on BB.com. The only androgens w/a 3-keto group that do not aromatize are the 5a-reduced.

Maybe Dr. D knows this subject a bit better...

I have a quick question here, and this is something that I've been wondering about regarding another designer steroid as well. From all that I have read, it seems like most people agree that any steroid cycle should always have a Test base, and something like a D-bol only cycle, or any other oral only cycle should never be done. However, I assume that due to the legal issue, when most people use something like M1,4add or Halodrol they are not using a Test base, and many of them still seem to have great results. So, my question is, are these designer steroids different in that they dont really need to have a Test base included in the cycle? :think:

they would be better with a test base but many people who run these run them because they can buy them OTC without legal issues.

Halodrol which is most similar to Oral turnibol and M1,4ADD which is most similar to D-bol are really alternatives to Test. They mimick its structure with certain receptor affinities. They can be prefered for different reasons D-bol being more "wet" than OT. So , It is possible to run them alone or as a substitue for Test in a specific stack dependent upon your goals.
Test is prefered by many because it is the most easily assimalated by the human body as it is a resident hormone. It is probably the best 'On Feeling" of all the options in my opinion. When you are seeking "bulk" or to "lean out" there are more effective options than Testosterone. I have always grown better on D-bol and Deca, than test. Its just that once you experience the surge of exponential test levels, you kind of miss it when running other chems!- good luck
