Met Tyson in Vegas last week....

Tyson held a training camp at the alladin in vegas this week. After training he talked to the audience. He will NOT be fighting an mma match, but will have an exhibition boxing fight at a pride event. He also will have ten exhibition fights around the world.

And yes, I did get to meet him and shake his hand. It was pretty cool because I'm a huge tyson fan. He was all about the ladys though. He hit on my wife, and even sent one of his guys out to talk to her. After the training session we were gambling in the casino and I turn around and this guy in this ridiculous suit was talking to my wife as she was using the bill breaking machine. I go walking over and he immediately walks away. She says the guy said tyson sent him out to get her autograph because he was a huge fan of HERS. He pulled out a pen and that's when I walked up. What a lame ass. lol Tyson was also hitting on this girl standing next to us during the traing session. He kept telling us "that's my girlfriend over there".

I have a bunch of videos and pics on my phone but I don't know how to transfer them to the computer. If anyone oelse does, I'll post em up.
 
That's pretty cool man. Im a Tyson fan too even after all of his outrageous actions. I love the things that he says. His quotes never cease to amaze me and make me crack up. Its like WOW!! what is going on with that guy?

Is your wife famous or was he just using it as a weak line?

No she's not famous. That's what made it such a blatantly cheesy attempt. He said he was going to hang her autograph next to Larry birds' in his house. He also asked where we were from and we told him Cleveland. He said I'm from cleveland too (which I know he has or had a house in ohio but he is not from there). He even signed an autograph to a guy that said "Mike Tyson, cleveland ohio" and came back over to show us and said, "see, I told you I was from cleveland".:blink:

All that being said, he wasn't rude or disrespectful (besides sending that guy out of course, but hey a guys gotta try I guess). He answered limited questions from the audience and gave some pretty interesting insights to his life, and Cus. He seemed uncomfortable with all the attention he was getting but still hung out a while for pictures and autographs.

Yeah, my wife God bless, her thinks highly of me and asked me "If Mike had hit on her disrespectfully in front of me, would I have kicked his ass?" I just laughed and said Um, no I think I'd let Iron Mike slide.:rofl:

I don't think he had much of a choice, unless he enjoys having a broken jaw. Seriously, you talk as though if he hit on your girlfriend you would do something about it. Why have your girlfriend get hit on and get KO'd in the same night.

Thats why you have to wait until hes not looking and then blast him in the back of the head with something.lol Seriously though I don't know why people get bent out of shape if someone hits on their girl. Its diffrent if some dude puts his hands on your girl or is being a total **** but its not worth going to jail just because some dude asked your girl for a number.

yeah, if I beat up every guy that hit on my wife, I'd never have time for anything else. For the record, I think I could take tyson.:bruce1: :lol: :fool2:
 
I honestly think using MMA rules I would have a chance in the ring. I would shoot right in and say SCREW the stand up. I just don't think tyson could defend a rear naked or triangle!

I don't know who you are, but unless you have some serious skill, athleticism, and power you would be **** out of luck. Mike Tyson is a ball of power and an animal. He appears to have a Barry Sanders like balance and center of gravity, but if you're really good on the ground I guess you'd have a shot:blink:

IT WAS NOT HIS GIRLFRIEND!!! it was his wife a totally different thing, and I know my wife, she would think less of me as I got punkd by Mike Tyson. Thats the type of woman she is, she would not care if the dali lama lifted her skirt she would expect me to defend her honor and knock him the eff out. Now Raising your voice, and standing up to Mike Tyson, and squaring up with him is 2 different things. You can still assert yourself without going to blows.

I hear you. Props to you for wanting to stand up for your wife, but unless he was WAY out of line(touching, making her extremely uncomfortable, etc) you should probably let it slide. He's an animal and has laid people out in the streets countless times and I'm sure he'd do it again. I'm sure you could handle the situation without having to fight him, but he's just such a loose cannon.
 
True that, I am just saying what type of wife I have. And how I woud be a punk in her eyes. Rationale and emotions they never meet esp with WOMEN!!!

Let me clarify this, Mike was respectful when we met him. He never disrespected me or my wife to our faces. When he sent his goon out, mike was already in his room. The guy he sent out was cheesy, but still not rude or anything. Having said that, Mike tyson or not, if a guy disrespected my wife or was way out of line, I would certainly stand up for her and myself even if it means an asswhuppin is on the way.
