Measuring Gains after Cycle

What is the best way to measure gains after a cycle?

Is there a specific amount of time I should wait to get accurate readings?

I have tried using calipers to measure bf% but I think I still have some water retention and the readings are inaccurate.

Before cycle I was at 175lbs lbm. If I go with my current measurements, I am at 171lbs lbm.

Get someone else to measure the BF% if you can. Weight alone is not much of an indicator - its Lean mass gain, and fat loss. So you are right on to want a BF% check. Sounds like you may not have a good baseline. Best thing I would recommend than is to take pictures - before and after - if you are happy with the change - then you succeeded. Good luck

yes I know the camera is an old beast... but it works and gear & food are more important than gagets right now.

Anyway... is there a general rule of thumb for how long it take water to purge from your body after a cycle?

I am going by measurements and appearence to this point, but the PCD (post cycle depression) is harsh. I miss the continual pump and feelling of hugeness.

I wouldn't necessarily call that a depression. It's more of a readjustment period. I mean it's only natural. To quote MTV you feel like "Zeus" for so long and then you come off & the gains don't come as quick. You kind of feel let-down. You just have to readjust back to normality. It won't take long & don't let that **** get to you. You're still going to make gains, just slower.
