Meal replacement

I've been trying out a bunch of meal replacement protein mixes and drinking them a few times a day to help put on a few pounds, but I've run in to a problem. Most of them are composed mainly of whey concentrate, and my stomach can't handle that much dairy every single day. Is there a blend I could try out that utilizes more egg protein, or is purely isolate and yet still has enough calories to qualify as an MRP?

Well ATW's MRP is comprised of only Whey Isolate. That's one thing that bothers me about it though. It needs to have slower digesting proteins thrown in there to be considered an MRP IMO. Maybe some casein/mpi and egg thrown in there for good measure. Also, the maltodextrin has to go. What about some oats or brown rice for carbs like you would see in Lean Mass Matrix or Micellean. What say you Laura?

1 cup of oats with 2 scoops of protein, MPI, whey isolate or casein if you must avoid whey, but the blend is good enough for me. It's cheap and effective.

I say that I gave them a copy of the thread - they are going to some big convention on Thursday to share new ideas and I have told them that PEANUT BUTTER must be done first - then we work on the Mass Gainers! Casein is definitely in their heads now and the idea of the oats is actually something that they are working on now......but I just want the gosh darn PB done because I know that we can do it right....not too sweet, but a good taste.....we can do this.

I will say that this weekend I can FINALLY offer bulk in a way that will be more attractive. I can do 50 pounds in FIVE different flavors......huh? Am i great or what? Things are happening now that they have someone actually listening to you experts.

I think a weight gainer for "educated" weight lifters would be great. I'm tired of seeing all this malto/dextrose/whey crap labeled as weight gainers. We need a LOW GI, slower absorbing protein mix (casein fits the bill IMO). Preferably without too many fats, those are easy enough to add to ones diet anyways.

Take a look at this thread and go to the link in it:

Something like that and casein 50/50 (calorie wise) would be great, and a great seller IMO. I'd just make it myself but I'm sure you all could produce it cheaper.

[I just forwarded this to the owner of ATW - like the other intelligent remarks that i see. I will keep you posted.
