Hey guys,

I'm new to the site but I need some help with meal prep. I'm starting a new cycle and want to bulk. I'm trying to reach about 3,000 calories a day for the first week and slowly increase that every week.

I want to do 5 meals a day. I'm 22, 5'7 and weighing at 130. Need to pack on some serious muscle. Pretty much do chicken oatmeal egg whites and veggies and rice. Anybody who can help me create a plan for 3k calories that would be awesome!!! pm me or chat this.

Thanks!

Why do you only eat 5 sources of food?
Why not eat fruits. (banana's, berries)
potatoes? Pasta? Cereal? Trail Mix? Granola?
Whole Eggs, Full Fat Dairy, Avacadoes, Lean beef 90/10 or 93/7?

If that is all you eat not only are your hormones going to hate you for being on an extremly low fat diet, but your diet is voided of micronutrients to a large degree.

Expand your food choices and eat. You don't need 5 food to bulk or cut

Eat in a caloric surplus, meaning eating more kcals than you need to maintain in order to gain muscle, size, and strength.

^ Bob has you covered, OP, and I agree with him 100%. Your current diet setup is devoid of beneficial nutrients. There really are no "bad" foods in the context of one's overall diet, so you should be eating foods from every food group and you should be consuming adequate fat in order to keep your hormones functioning.

Additionally, since you're bulking, you're going to need to choose foods that are rich in calories. You're going to have a bad time if you stick to chicken and rice. Best of luck.
