A few months? I’d say you’re good for a few YEARS. Most exp. dates on labels are some arbitrary date the manufacturer just slapped on there that’s 2 years after production without knowing a darn thing about the actual shelf-life of the ingredients. If it was stored correctly, you’re golden. Even if it wasn’t, you’re probably still “okay”.
People at University of California, San Francisco examined properly-stored stimulants, pain killers and supplements that were 30-40 years old and found most were still roughly 100 percent of their labeled concentrations and very stable. They then tested some old 1-4 year old EpiPens that were in non cool-dark places like car glove compartments and each one was 80-90 of the labeled concentration. You’re absolutely fine OP.
