If I were to massage (I dont), Id prolly be inclined to avoid it immediately after injection and do it next day. My concern would be the greater risk of leakage back into subq tissue if done straight after.
I generally wait a bit, like couple hours or next morning... Never had leakage, but I use 25g and 1" deep. Wound closes pretty fast.
And only really needed if the compound has inflamed or stiffened the muscle after injection IMHO. Ibuorofen to the rescue here too.
I don't think general massage would do much for breaking up scar tissue formation.
Think percussion massager instead. Good ones range $150 for Pado wave, or the fancy Theragun unit used by NBA players for like $600.
How long do you experience PIP after not massaging?
Yup. Gluts, delts, hip (Ventro Gluts).1 inch for gluteals as well?

Ever had a 2cc shot end up sub in your glute? I have, it looked like half a golf ball on my asscheek and took like 3 days to absorbMust have reall low bf on glutes if you can pin IM with a 1" there.
I guess, I'm 6'2" and used to play basketball, volleyball... My BF lean is 10%, but on cycle bloated up maybe 15% with app the extra water, etc.. I suppose if you have a sizeable fat layer maybe 1.25" to 1.5" for glutes might be better.Must have reall low bf on glutes if you can pin IM with a 1" there.
I typically dont, tbh. Only time I seem to get PIP is when Im inj boldCyp or nandCyp. In those cases I dont find it too bothering anyway, usually peaks about 12hrs post-pin, and subsides about 2 days later.

Never had it accidental SubQ and golf ball.
I always used 23g 1.5" for glutes and also for quads. Didn't really put to much thought in it. But I bought 1" 25g and I've used that for quads and it's been a bit easier to pin I must sayIt takes a bit longer to push the oil through though, but it really isn't a problem.
