Making all kinds of gains with Magnitropin

Update from yesterdays upper body session. For bench the program calls for the same set/rep scheme as tuesday.
Bench- 145x10, 195x10, 215x8, 225x6
pullups- 4x6
OHP- 115 3x6 <-- OHP has always been horrible. I really need to work on it, i know it will help my bench alot
widegrip pulldowns- 3x10-12
Dips- 3x8-12
straight arm lat pulldown- 3x8
DB lateral raise- 25's 3x8-10
BB curl- 65 lb 3x8
diamond pushups for 3 sets. didn't count reps, just repped it out till my tri's were gonna pop

Was a really good session. Bench went up nice and easy. easier than it did on Tuesday. Cant wait to see how i keep progressing. Hoping i can get that 300 bench on this next maxout!

Nice session bro!

alright, so the weekends are off days for me. skipped the dosage on sunday, so im following the 6 on 1 off protocol.
i was pumped and ready to kill legs today. this is my favorite week of the program. for squats on monday it calls for 80% 5 sets of 3 then on thursday 80% 10 sets of 3. It is submaixmal weight, but it will drain you harder than anything else killing that many sets, set after set.
so today looked like this
squat- 315lb 5x3
DB RDL- 85's 3x8 i always focus on a nice slow eccentric and explode on the concentric really thrusting my hips through.
leg press- 3x12
lying glute/ham machine- 2x8
glute/ham raise- 2x6
finished it off with a couple minute of cycling on heavy resistance to really pump up the quads. these hurt sooooo good.

i dont know how i haven't learned my lesson yet, but i KNOW i dont usually respond well to yohimbine, but like an idiot i keep taking it once in awhile, and almost everytime i feel like ****. Well this was one of those days. I think i finally learned my lesson now after dozens of try's with it.
makes me all shaky and jittery, cold chills, sweaty, nauseous. Not fun stuff.
but i powered through it and had another great session. Still no increase in appetite that i can notice (thank god)

rest day today. yesterday was another great session. bench went up amazingly. feeling really strong at the moment, especially after this session
Bench- 210x10 225x8 230x8 (this is the most i have ever done, so pumped!)
BB row- 115 3x12
dumbbell bench- 65's 3x10
widegrip pulldown- 3x8-10
band pullaparts- 3x8-12
dips- 3x8-10

i thought that maybe i was starting to get an increase in hunger because the past 2 days i was more hungry than usual, but today i didnt get this feeling. I'll continue to monitor

Looks like we're the opposite on a couple of things, first I respond well to yohimbine as long as it's not overdosed in a supplement,
and 2nd I'm looking forward to the appetite increase from Magnitropin but honestly I don't think it's gonna happen cause I'm almost
done with my first jar and next week will be the start of my 2nd jar but I'll see what happens. Nice work going on in here and your
handling some nice poundage and that 230x8 bench is impressive keep it up.:)

ya, idk i figured i would get an increase, but like i said. im glad i havent. just got home from work. update in the morning.

been super busy the past couple days so im gonna get a quick update in between working and homework.

yesterday went very well, 10 sets of three @ 315 pounds is always brutal but for some reason didn't seem as crushing as usual. I dont know if i am just getting use to the load or what.
I noticed yesterday that i was more hungry than normal. I woke up in the middle of the night with my stomach growling, even though i eat about 1500 calories right before i go to sleep. FML right haha

let me know if you think i hit parallel :D

today's upper body day was the same from Tuesdays for the main lift, but of course i switched up my assistance exercises.
i hit all of my reps besides my last set on 280 i only got it for 7 reps. keep in mind though that i did not have any pre workout today, so that was expected. usually it is a lot worse when i dont take one. I usually will miss a rep or even two on every set. SO there is improvement there.

sorry for the quick update, but i have been slammed busy. full time work and school is rough, and drill this weekend doesn't help things out.

just got back from the gym. Had a long weekend with drill and everything. I finally get a day off today. First and only in a few weeks :(
anyway, i had a pretty good session today. I dropped from around 197 pounds on friday to 193 this morning. I always lose some weight over the weekend and especially drill weekend.

today i has 3 sets of 4-6 reps on squat @85% and 2 sets of 3-6 @85% on deadlift.
I worked out at my base gym today, and i dont know if i have mentioned it before but the weights (the 45's at least) are slightly heavier than 45 pounds. they are closer to 46-48 pounds. So when having six 45's on the bar it definitely can throw your progress off.
I dont know if it was the minor water weight loss, the heavier weights or what, but the weight just felt super heavy on squats.

squat- 3x4 @335 pounds
deadlift- 2x3@405 pounds
leg press- 2x12
superset* adductor machine- 3x10 w/ lying leg curl- 3x7 (last set i did a double drop set)
superset* leg extension- 3 sets of 10-12 w/ back extension 2 sets of 8

legs felt really good and pumped on the isolation movements. I dont get to hit those very often because i usually go to my other gym with my gf where they do not have any machines.

rest day today. yesterday was the first day of upperbody for week 3 on the program. Cant wait for max out week again. Only 2 more weeks! :D
so today called for 3x4-6 @85% for bench
Bench- 245 pounds 3x4 then one back off set of 205 for 6
Just like the squat yesterday, the weight felt oddly heavy
This day i actually weighed one of the 45 pound plates and it weighed 48.6 pounds. 0_o
no wonder it felt so heavy and i wasn't putting up the numbers i should of. on squat i was doing roughly 20 pounds more with the 6 45's on the bar and for bench i was doing about 7-8 pounds more. really makes me mad, but also relieved because i know i can do more normally :)

after the bench sets i did my normal higher rep, higher volume hypertrophy work
seated row- 3x8-10
chest fly- 3x8-10
pulldown- 3x8
close grip bench- 135lb 3x10
reverse fly- 3x8-10

still no real hunger increase to be noted. other than the stupid weights messing things up im am feeling pretty good/strong.

i might have spoke a little early. yesterday i was hungry as FAWK all afternoon, i couldnt eat enough.
heading to the gym now to smash some legs! :D

felt like sh*t all days yesterday. I dont know if i at something that didnt agree with me or what. I didnt really feel sick, but i was not hungry at all yesterday and i was super bloated and it felt like i just ate a buffet non stop.
This made it very difficult to squat heavy without puking everywhere but i managed to hold it back ;)
i had 3 sets of 4-6 @85% fr squats again which was 335 pounds.

On monday when i did this i only got 4 reps each set because of the damn weights. Now that i went to my other gym where the weights ar correct i got 5 reps (probably could have gotten 6, but felt like crap)

After those sets of squats i did
pauses/deadstop squat- 225lb 2x5
pause deadlift- 225lb 2x3 (second time ever doing these. Jonnie just made a video on them)
DB One leg good mornings- 70lb 2x10 each leg
walking lunges- about 50 yards total (these are killer)
finished it off with some hard cycling to get a killer pump in the quads.

weight has been staying steady around 195-197. i was 195.8 this morning. legs are super sore. hammies are killer and my hamstring rarely get sore

thanks fellas! and ya i have really good vascularity. Here is some better shots

Thanks tyga. i really feel that my delts are a weak point on me :( i rarely train shoulders. A couple sets of OHP is about as much as they get it

feeling pretty good thus far. My knees have kinda been bugging me this week. kinda sore and creaky. They keep popping every time i squat down. They have never really been sore like this before. I will have to keep an eye on it. Thinkin maybe i am squatting too low

Excellent! Looks like you're enjoying this run with Magnitropin

My knees have been givin me trouble as well this week although I think mine has a direct correlation with the alphadex im taking.

Ps you can never squat to low! People like you and I will NEVER be questioned at a meet simply because we hit depth for days.

i just think its because i use the reflex of my knee to bounce out of the hole. For me it is easier to do this than to stop at parallel and go up. I can handle more weight with this technique. We will see how it goes. They dont really bother me during my squats but afterward and just in day to day life they are sore.

knees are feeling alot better than they did over the weekend. Not sore anymore, but they are still popping and cracking more than usual.
Now we are getting down to the nitty gritty, starting to handle some heavy weight as i edge closer to max outs.
I measured it out and my last dosage will be on Friday, then the next week i have max outs.
for squats i had 3x3 @90%
for deadlifts it called for a variation (i did DB SLDL) for 2 sets of 6.

squat- 360lb 3x3, 225 2x7 (slow eccentric, pause at bottom)
lying leg curl- 3x7 (last set drop set)
adductor machine- 4x8-12
DB SLDL- 90's 2x7
back extension- 2x8-10
Leg extension- 4x8-12 (last set drop set)

let me know what you think of the video! i did do all 3 reps every set but my phone cuts off after 30 seconds...
For some reason i really had a problem with my butt coming up before the rest of my body, then i had to use a lot of back to get the weight up. I do not usually do this, but for some reason it was very prevalent here. The way the camera angle is set up it doesn't look like i am going as low as i actually am.
On my last set (this is the first time this has ever happened to me) i went to rack the weight and the right side of the bar was not in the hook. I let it down and was like O SH*T and somehow i caught it and threw it back up there. I kinda of tweaked my shoulder in the process, but it is all good now. Very scary though!

already fellas, only a couple days left of this log. I will keep you updated through next weeks max outs to see how much strength i have gained.
I went out a few days ago and picked up some knee wraps and wrist wraps. I have never used either in my entire lifting career, so i figured i would pick up some cheap ones from scheels (50 bucks all together) and try them out.
I haven't legit squatted in the knee wraps yet. I got them about 2 hours after my leg day on Monday, so on Tuesday (upper-body) i was just trying them out with 225 on the bar. It is going to take some time getting use to them, but i could feel that they helped just with that light of weight.

Tuesday:
Alright so Tuesday went very well. Just as on Monday with squats i had 3x3@90% on bench as well.
This equaled out to 260 pounds, which is the most i have ever done for 3x3
All three sets went up B-E-A-UTIFULLY. Felt really strong coming out of the bottom. I have been working on keeping that arch and staying tight in the bottom. In the video i definitely didn't keep my arch (huge issue for me that i need to work on) I always set it up good, do the first rep, lose my arch, lower the weight with a flat back, then when i lift it up i arch hard and drive my legs. It gets the job done, but looks horrible.

after that i did my normal 8-12 rep hypertrophy work
pulldowns
DB bench
inverted/BB rows
dips
chest flys

I didn't hit any arms this day because yesterday i did not have to work till later so i went in and hit some shoulders and arms. did not do anything specific, just a bunch of random things, alot of pump high rep, high set. Not sure how many sets i even did but it was A LOT haha
. I was really just there to help my gf out with her session since she was a day behind me she had upper-body this day instead of yesterday.

nice man! i never used knee wraps before, i like the sleeves though. i've had two broken femurs, a dislocated knee cap all on my right leg, so my knees need a bit of support lol

damn, how did that happen. Ive never broken anything except for a fractured tailbone. which was f*cking horrible. cant sit down for months

lol my dad did that.

i got hit by a car when i was 12, fractured my skull, femur in three spots. rebroke it a year later. knee cap was from baseball, kid slid into my knee at third base and just popped out. dr said it was a miracle i didnt tear my ACL

damn, that sounds painful

could be worse. happy to be alive, really helped me mature much faster i believe and take everything in better. not to sound like an ol' man lol but even at 23 i try to appreciate everything more
heard that, military helped alot with that for me

My left knee is still kind of bugging me. The lateral tendon on the back on my left knee is tender and my knee cracks hardcore anytime i sit in a deep squat and come back up. It isnt really painful, but it doesn't feel good by any means.
Luckily this hasnt effected my squatting at all, i dont even notice it. This was the first time to actually use my knee wraps. It is going to take some getting use to, but i could feel they helped out.
For squats the routine called for a set at 90%x3 then a set of 1-2 @95%
this worked out to. 360x3 and 380x1-2. well i ended up getting 2 reps with 380 and it felt pretty easy.
after that i was suppose to do the same percentages on deadlifts, but for one i was pressed for time as i had to get to work, so setting it all up would have took to long, and two, right after my heavy sets of squats i did 3 sets of 10 @225 pounds going super ATG. I did these without wraps and it felt WAYYYY easier than it has before.

this was my last set at 380 pounds

i didnt go as low as i would have liked to, but i think that is still parallel. The wraps definitely messed with me hitting depth. Gonna take some time.

You go real DEEP on them squats bro  I only go parallel these days cause I do some much bending down in my
two jobs so I can't afford to kill me knees. You look like you handled those reps pretty easy in the video . Nice Job.
I use to use wraps for my heavy sets and it does take a little getting use to but you feel a sense of security for your
knees when your handling the heavy poundage's and they do help but I haven't gone super heavy on squats in a
long time I find high reps with moderate weight work better for me these days.

thanks man, Ive always been a stickler on squatting deep. Nothing makes me more mad in the gym than people doing quarter reps on squats

Well my last dose was saturday morning. i will have a final review up in a few days. I will probably wait until this next week when i max out. Will try to get a video of all my lifts.

well todays session was sort of a success. I did hit a squat PR of 405 pounds, which is 5 pounds heavier than i did last tme, but i also used wraps. I tried 405 without wraps first and almost got it, but failed.
I then threw on my wraps and tried it. Here is that video

Uh oh whaaaaa
one step closer to my 1200 pound total. got 300 on bench, went up surprisingly easier than i thought it would of. I Didnt even know if i was gonna get it. My shoulder is still killing me. I probably shouldn't of tested it, but luckily i didn't totally kill my shoulder. now i can let it heal for a week and a half. Now i need a 495 deadlift. That would be a 20 pound PR, but last time i maxed on deads i pulled a 20 pound PR, so who knows! wish me luck!

300 on bench with your shoulder hurting, that's impressive! Good numbers in here fo sho
