Magnitropin Muscle Making

Thanks for the tips guys. I never really have trouble with cramps but I'll keep an eye out. Damn np was out of every taurine when I went to order Friday.

First dose is in the books and being followed by 5tbsp of cream of wheat, 2c of jif pb cereal and a pb marshmallow shake (use half as "milk") for my pwo meal

I never have trouble with cramps either, and while on this, I've only experienced some on leg days. Not on my other days, so I think you'll be fine but it sucks to cut a workout short cause of cramps.

For sure. Especially leg day when you're trying to go balls to the wall.

First legit workout at home today since the gym is closed and I got my new squat rack combo built last night. Pretty much squatted until I was afraid I couldn't walk back up the stairs ha. Threw in some sldl's and leg ext/ham curls as well. Overall a great workout.

I've already noticed an insatiable thirst from the magnitropin. Woke up a few times in the night and was just chugging water. This is gonna be a pain as I have the bladder of a 4yr old and already drink 1.5-2gal of water a day ha.

Likewise. Pyroxamine only exacerbates the thirst!

Had bit of a rough night's sleep last night trying to get back on my normal work schedule instead of vacation time ha. Also didn't help that my allergies were killing me and had me blowing my nose every 30min or id choke... Excuse to get up and drink water ha.

DOMS were brutal this morning after yesterday's leg hypertrophy workout. Today will be Push hyper. No noticeable increase in hunger yet which is good. Still thirsty a lot though.

Workout went pretty well today. New layout and not lifting to failure every set is still a work in progress for me. Wasn't feeling terribly energized so I tried a scoop of jack3d advanced (last scoop left in the tub) again just to see if I could get something out of it even after my long stim break and still nothing. Stuff is totally useless for me. Two tubs I'll sell if anyone's interested ha.

Took my doses with pre workout meal (12:45p) and pwo meal (6:15p) Cals are at 2100 now, going up 100 each week. Pwo noms:

Gonna rest up tonight and try to get some better sleep. Pounding the water still.

Slept like complete crap again last night... this cold/allergies thing is literally only noticable at night and its awful. I wake up choking and drooling like every 30min and then cant fall back asleep.

The one nice thing is the thirst from magnitropin is keeping me well hydrated. I have noticed though that it's not as intense as it was day 1 but still pretty solid. Workout today is pull hypertrophy and my lower back is still a little tight from sunday's workout so I'll have to make sure I get warmed up real good.

Weight has settled at about 173.5lb so I'm hoping it'll stay pretty stagnant as I add more cals each week until I hit about 2700 or so. Once I get there (should be about maintenance) then I hope to see some true weight gain (slowly though ha).

Gotta go to a wedding this weekend in Chicago so that's gonna jack up my lifting schedule a bit. I'll have to check out the hotel and see if there's a gym and what I might be able to finagle for a workout.

Yesterday's (and what a pretty standard weekday will look like) diet:Invalid Link Removed

Hope you can stick to the controlled diet. Magnitropin makes me crave and want to eat everything in sight....

hhaha yeah if your recomping and or cutting trying to use this for the definition aspect it will be tough your always hungry. i like to stack it with the pyro to keep my diet in check or else the super market would be empty

I think even lean bulking is hard with this stuff, but I've always had a strong appetite to begin with. My macros are all over the place ranging from on point on some days, to just a massive excess on some days.

So far I haven't noticed anything in the way if increased hunger. I'm another "always hungry" or always thing about food type but a few days in and all is quiet on the hunger front ha

I started getting hungrier around Day 3 or 4. I forget.

Solid workout today. Just felt motivated even though I still didn't get much sleep last night. It was pull hypertrophy day which I was pretty poached for anyways. Looked like this:
Tbar rows 6x8
Incline db rows 3x10
Lat pull down 3x10-12+1 drop set
Cable seated rows 3x10-12+1 ISO hold
Meadows rows 3x10-12 + 1 rest pause
Rear delt fly 3x10-12 + run the rack amrap 25lb-20-15-12-10-8-5lb

Had a pretty nice pump going in my rear delt after this. Strength was right about where I expect it to be, no increases or anything yet. I do seem to feel like my recovery time has slightly improved as I find myself wanting to do my next set pretty quickly. I believe this is mostly due to the fact that I'm not going to failure on any but the last set but I'll keep an eye on actual time between sets going forward to see if recovery time is truly improving. This week will be more of my "baseline" since it's the first full week on my program.

Thirst seems to have slowed a bit as well but I drink a ton anyways so that could be the reason ha. Still no noticeable hunger increase.

Looks like there is a gym at the hotel I'll be staying at this weekend and you have to pay to use it so it better be pretty nice. The plan will be to move my normal rest day (Thursday/tomorrow) to Friday (travel and some fancy dinner bs) and just workout tomorrow instead. Then get up early sat and hit the hotel gym. Sunday will be either a very early or late workout depending what time were heading home. I refuse to miss a workout for some wedding I don't even hardly know the couple ha.

Diet will be the biggest challenge this weekend as there's no way to take food around with me so I'll be picking at what I can and trying to keep it as clean as possible. Gonna try to avoid drinking much as well as frankly I just don't want to but I know it'll annoy my family and I might have to come up with some "creative" ways to fake it like I did on vacation.... We will see.

Paying to use a hotel gym? Been in some pretty nice hotels/resorts and can't say I have ever experienced that. Hopefully its a free weight fee as every one I've been to was machines and low weight DB's.

Ya its some super fancy hotel that i think the wedding is being held at. apparently they have a full size olympic pool too. I can't find any pictures of the equipment except for a bunch of cardio but the description says its there. For $12 a session it better be nice.

Power legs today. Went great even though I thought I was gonna vomit at one point after squats. Endurance at least mentally, is up, actual recovery time still seems to take longer bit I'm ready to get under the bar almost instantly in my head ha.

Sweating has been getting increasingly more each workout the last 3 days as well.

Still nothing of note in the hunger dept. which is good at this stage ;)

How'd I miss this? Late, and will catch up and report back lol

$12? Hell. Post pics if you can. I'm curious what hotel gym is more expensive than a day pass at almost any other gym I've seen.

Tell me about it... I think I pay less then that per MONTH at my gym ha. This place better have a bod pod or protein dispenser at every machine

For a $12 dollar pass they better let you have a set of dumbbell's when you exit

Meal 1 a bit ago on the road was a nice little chicken salad so so far so good diet wise. Gonna get in to the hotel early so I may workout today and then either take off tomorrow or Sunday whichever is easier.

Woke up pretty hungry this morning and after eating I started feeling hungry fairly quick again afterwards. Could be the pest signs of a hunger increase.

Haven't been drinking anything so I don't have to pee every 5min (I have a child's bladder) on the trip so needless to say I'm dying of thirst.

Gonna take my first dose today with my next meal (hopefully will end up being my pre workout meal) and then second dose with dinner tonight. Tomorrow I'll prob dose pwo (early morning if I workout) or with meal 1 and with dinner.

So this is what a $12 a day gym looks like... Just wow. Rich people. Luckily I argued and acted confused and got the whole weekend free ha.

Had a nice long push power session even with the oddball equipment. Endurance felt great again especially considering I had much less food and water in me then normal.

Prob gonna do pull power early tomorrow morning so dead lifting with the 3d smith machine. It's actually pretty good so in not too worried.

Food is still on point this far. Second dose will be with dinner.

wow... that's insanely nice

It's insanely fancy but really small and def nothing special. There's also a full sized Olympic pool tho upstairs from it which is really sweet looking.

Dinner tonight was a 16oz ny strip with risotto and rapini. Cooked super rare. Ah. Maz. Ing. Lost about 4oz to just fat but still an awesome meal

Not a single weight out of place. I'd feel bad with how much I sweat lifting in there. Definitely $12 worth unless Arnold came out as your PT. Well done getting it free. What did you say?

Just acted dumb like I didn't realize it wasn't on our room charge already. Then complained that one of our rooms wasn't even ready when we checked in ha.

Really good day so far. Slept in, pull power, subway, wandered Chicago and about to head to a wedding.

All macros are on point so far and workouts have been great. No hunger issues (prob since I'm used to being hungry ha). Prob gonna let loose a bit tonight and have a few drinks and good food.

Pull power workout was pretty solid. Deadlifts in the 3d rack were ok but not great. Just a bit awkward. Set new rep pr's on db rows and pull-ups (weight too). Overall a good workout with what seemed like great endurance.

Had a good time at the wedding last night and didnt drink. Just carried around a rocks glass with water all night ha. Food was great, filet and mahi mahi with asparagus and potatoes. I got two plates since there was an extra at our table so I ate $800 of food ha.

Since I didn't drink and tomorrow I'm gonna be real busy I decided to get up early and do legs here. It was hypertrophy day so I was leg pressing instead of squats but the leg press here was waaayyyyy too light so instead of 7x6 I was doing 7x12.

Noticeable endurance today for sure as even with minimal sleep I was really cutting my rest periods down and feeling good. No increased hunger.

Pwo there was a brunch for the wedding so I was hoping for eggs and cereals and such but no luck. Just some crap muffins and a little yogurt and granola. Ate enough to feel like I got some carbs in and then a protein bar to help. not ideal but should suffice. I'll fill the rest of the day with better cals and such.

Tomorrow will be my off day (finally) and I'll be going out to the awesome rib place with the gf (her request) for dinner. Gonna keep the day low carb and cal and save it all for dinner. I'll weigh in tomorrow but I'm gonna start weighing Fridays instead so I can do whatever on the weekends and not worry about misc bloat weight making my numbers all jumpy.

Dannnngg that's a serious dollar for two plates of food.

Ya it was a lavish wedding. The brides dad has biiiigggg money. Some type of big property owner in downtown Chicago.

So after this weekends crazy scheduling and replanning today is finally my rest day. Normal rest days I will keep carbs very low and calories down a bit but tonight I'm going out with the gf to this awesome rib place so in gonna keep the day meals light and crush some ribs.

Week 1 notes:
- no increase in hunger. I like this as I was nervous it would make me go crazy but apparently I already was so it couldn't get worse
- endurance is increasing each workout. First few it was more mental but each one it has become more prevalent.
- can't really comment much in strength as I've been in different gyms with diff equipment. This week will give a better assessment
- weight has stayed constant or possibly slightly down. This is due to the travel and such. At this stage is rather lose a lb then gain too much fat.
- body comp has stayed constant. This is to be expected as I'm reverse dieting and being very careful even when out of my normal diet framework.

Overall, nothing much to report after a week outside of endurance.

Feeling good and excited to get back in the gym today for push hypertrophy day. Should be a good workout after a rest day yesterday. I've bumped up calories to 2200 now and will continue to get all of my carbs pre/post workout. Felt hungrier a little earlier then normal this morning but nothing crazy.

Hopefully I'll start to see some strength gains coming in through week 2 and since my schedule should be more constant for a bit I'll be able to make some better comparisons.

Push hyper today and I was def feeling the endurance impact. I had to make a conscious effort to take longer rests as I was never winded but muscle fatigue was still there.

I was able to add reps to all of the following accessory lifts from last week (measured by last set amrap numbers):
Tricep dips +1 rep
Sit bb OHP +2 reps at full weight, +1 rep on drop set
Decl db press +1 rep
Tri db OHP +2 reps at full weight, +2 reps on drop set
Cable cross finisher I added reps on all 4 drop sets (+3>+4>+1>+6)

Strength lifts felt good with additional weight as well. Was able to add 5lb to db shoulder press and incl db chest press and only drop 1 rep for all sets.

Overall a great workout and I'm feeling really motivated and into it now. Enjoying the new lifting layout, volume, and style.

Yesterday's workout was pull hyper. I had kind of an off day in the gym, not so much related to strength but more focus and drive. Just had a tough time really getting into the workout. I think I took too much of my pre and was a bit jittery which def didn't help. Numbers were still solid though and I added a rep or two to a couple lifts:
Lat Pulldowns +1 rep to all 3 sets
Seated Cable Rows +1 rep to first 2 sets
Meadows Rows +5lb and 1 rep to all 3 sets

Weight this morning was 172.1lb so down about 1.5lb which is crazy considering I've bumped cals up by 100 each week and had some travel eating thrown in there as well. I ahve been doing a very good job controlling calories though when not in my regular scenario. I feel like I look a little tighter as well so I snapped some pics this morn and will upload them in a bit here for comparison at just about the halfway point. As a side note, I usually weight about 170 or so in the afternoons and then eat a ton pwo and pre bed so morning weight is actually higher then afternoon.

Allergies have still been a nightmare and even with my normal medicine my nose is a faucet and my sinuses are killing me. Really only an issue at night as its hurting my sleep waking me up choking all the time.

Today is an off day for me to get back on schedule. Gonna keep carbs low and calories slightly below normal and watch my steelers whoop up on the wife beating ravens.

Thanks guys. Once I put the pics side by side it confirmed what I was thinking. Hopefully this will just continue and I can keep bumping cals and getting leaner! I'd prob buy stock in magnitropin at that point ha

Surprisingly even though I've been eating like a lardass I notice my body composition isn't getting worse and I'm getting much more endurance/strength. Pretty awesome stuff. Although my food bill probably wishes they didn't include the ingredient that increases hunger. I think you need some solid mental fortitude to keep to your proper calories on this.
