I agree but I'm only doing 5x5 for one reason and one reason only. That's to bring up my numbers back to where they were prior to dieting. In a short span of 1 month I got my strength back and then some.

Being able to squat, bench and row 3x a week does speed up that progress faster.

Yeah everyone has their own goals, I understand.

In my personal opinion and what I have been told from people in the top tier is that training powerlifting style training and numbers doesn't matter, unless you are more natty than enchanced then I believe you need to do as much heavy lifting as you can with high volume. I still believe Doug miller was natural a few years back (not anymore since the Jay Cutler Classic last year) and thats how he trains and most the top level "natural" dudes, once you are on GH though everything goes through the door you don't have to train like they did in the old days.

Thats from my experience and seeing people who are at that level train, even though I train harder than them

I am not disagreeing with you :) , just providing my view on it, I can see your side pretty well and numbers help keep the motivation in check.

You planning to compete, you're stats make me think you'll lean towards classic physiques which just got announced

I totally agree with the high volume work, it's the only way to grow. I was doing it for years and just go all out, best training program for size.

I'm not planning to compete, this is just a lifestyle I fell in love with :)

This was me peaking at 169lbs. I'm working a lot on my quads and back thickness now so maybe another 10 lbs to my current frame I'd be show ready.

Well, you can switch to high volume soon -- but now you inspired me to try Madcow. :) If I remember correctly, people often do Strong Lifts first, then switch to 3X5 or Madcow.

Now, let me ask you this: how to you feel on Trest? Also, since you are contemplating DMZ vs Msten vs Triumphalis - which brands of DMZ and Msten do you have? Do you want to use just a single compound or a stack? What's your main goal with those?

Lots of questions, I know. Thanks in advance.

F@CK dude! You should totally do a show!

Thanks guys, my brother competes but I'm holding off until I know for sure I'll win. Maybe when I start pinning and get more size I'd be happier with my look. Right now I don't know how to peak properly and my quads needs more work. But thanks all for the encouragement!

My bad I missed this post.

The Trest, Dmz and msten I have are all from OL. I was going to overlap the two compounds just by a week or maybe two. Something like this:

Msten 20/20/20/20/0/0/0
Dmz 0/0/0/40/40/40/40/40
Trest 75mg TD for 7-8 weeks

For me trest is alright, it does the job of fighting lethargy and boosting libido. For gains, I'd use other compounds. As a 'legal' base it's the best thing out there. I'm all about abiding by the law but I have tons of connects for real gear so I might go for 8 weeks on anadrol too vs the msten/Dmz stack.

Main goal is more mass I'm aiming for 190 but better BF ratio than before. I can hit 192 natty but I get fat, I want to stay below 15% when I bulk this winter.

Now I have all types of support to help me get there and next year is going to be epic. I know I'll have an awesome cut next spring.
