ma70's Myokem Magnitropin Log.

nice jog as long as its a cool morning with no humidity.

glad to see the hunger is kicking in already next is the full body pumps and the horny part

Yeah, but the hunger is a bit annoying for me. My food budget and calorie count might get really ugly soon....hopefully I can control it, haha.

It is very tough to avoid binging on this though, that's for sure. I admit I'm doing extra volume, but my stomach doesn't usually growl like this at random times.

Have you kept track of your weight since starting? I think you were 193 about a week before first posting.

Yes I have. Currently 197. Can't sure if I can attribute this to just random water weight or the supplement because it's only Day 4.

if i were still doing supps....this is the product i would be most interested in.

good luck ma70!!!

I already have high hopes for it. Cistanche/Epicatechin from anecdotal feedback have proven to be beasts. I don't know much about the last ingredient, but I know it's probably increasing test in some way because my skin always gets oily with test boosters and well....it's oily as a mofo (I have to use certain skincare products to cut this crap down). My planned reps/weights are seeming easier to get through so I'll probably be trying to ramp up every week. The only problem is I have to split my weight room dedication with cardio because I'm training for a 13 mile obstacle course.

interested in how this works out for you!!! the additional weight you will be carrying would usually be a hinderance for an endurance obstacle course, hopefully the increased strength will counter this.....along with weight training i would recommend body weight exercises like pull ups and push ups, and lots of sit ups-everyones favorite, lol.

Thumbless Grip Face Pulls:

35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15
35 lbs x 15

Post Workout Thoughts:
Midway while warming up for my heavy military presses I noticed my triceps got pumped a bit which is weird. When I started doing the seated DB presses that's when I noticed that my triceps basically blew up so the pumps are pretty strong. Endurance is very good as well. I have been taking shorter breaks between some of these sets and still hammering them out. Recovery is also noticeablely better in my opinion. Either way, I'm liking what this supplement seems to offer right now. Every week I'll try to make every workout more intense in some way (more weight, more reps, shorter breaks, or something). Confidence is also up, which may or may not be related to an increase in test.

Sounds like you're about to "turn the corner" with the supp.

Where do you have the pully positioned (assuming yours adjustable with a pin) for your face pulls?

I pull from slightly above my forehead so it's sort of a slight downward motion towards me. I slightly lean back and keep my core tight to try and stay stable and I stand out far enough so that there is constant tension between reps.

Yesterday's macros:
~3400 calories
206g protein
112g fat
Fill in rest with carbs

The hunger is very hard to control....off to the gym soon to do some deadlifting.

Day 6:

Deadlift: (All double overhand grip unless stated otherwise)
135 lbs x5
185 lbs x4
205 lbs x3
245 lbs x2
275 lbs x2
290 lbs x1
305 lbs x2
305 lbs x2 (mixed grip)
305 lbs x2 (mixed grip)

Romanian Deadlift: (All double overhand grip)
185 lbs x8
185 lbs x8
185 lbs x8
185 lbs x8
185 lbs x8

Dumbbell Carries: (grip/core work, with nice upper back stimulation)
45 lbs, 5 laps around a set path (I'd say it's around 40 yards long)

Post Workout Thoughts:
Although I didn't feel in the zone this morning, the workout turned out great. Sweating a lot and getting nice pumps. Endurance is pretty awesome, and I mainly can attest to this because my hamstrings get pretty worn out by the later sets of Romanian Deadlifts and my form slightly goes to crap, but today I finished it just fine. Also, my grip endurance is better.

Today's macros:
~3200 calories
195g Protein
85g Fat
Fill rest with carbs.

Tomorrow I'll be participating in a 5k so that'll be my cardio for the day.

Day 7:

5k Run

Took 3 caps 30 mins before the race started and definitely felt myself breathing easier. Will take the other 3 caps before food sometime later on in the day.

that's awesome man, i don't know how anyone can run that far. the cardio i do is walking my dog in the morning before work or the gym lol

I hate long distance running as I'm accustomed to basketball (stop and go sprints and stuff) but I need to attempt to up my cardio game for the 13 mile obstacle course. I'm nowhere near the mileage needed to have a decent time so I'm probably gonna end up walking most of it. Haha.

I'm good for 5 right now, at a slow pace. I'm screwed...haha.

The obstacle races are different tho cuz you get mini breathers at each obstacle. It's not like a straight run.

Is this your first one?

Yeah it's my first one.

Yep you'll be ok. 13mi is long but the obstacles use muscles besides your legs and they slow you down so you get a chance to catch your wind and get some endurance back.

You're almost better off training a hiit style vs pure endurance as it's good to have quick recovery vs just straight endurance since you'll stop and start quite a few times

Yeah I've been doing a mix. I still sprint on Squat day, but my off days have been set to just having my legs last longer.

Yesterday's macros:
2700 calories
170g Protein
115g Fat
Fill rest with carbs

Gonna hit the gym in 1-2 hours. Up pretty early this morning.

From now on, I will put in bold what has "improved" since my last workout. Today is back to sprinting/squats/assistance.

Day 8:

10 Sprints (about 60-80 yards), while walking back to starting point in between

Lying Leg Curls:
2 stacks, 1x15
2 stacks, 1x15
4 stacks, 1x15
4 stacks, 1x12
4 stacks, 1x9
4 stacks, 1x6

Squats:
135 lbs x5
185 lbs x5
225 lbs x5
275 lbs x5
275 lbs x2 --> Last rep was a partial squat though, I'll admit....

Single Leg DB Lunges: (one leg at a time)
30 lbs x10x2
30 lbs x10x2 --> Did an extra set of lunges from last time since cramps weren't effecting me

Stiff Legged Deadlifts: (Better stretch on my hamstrings than RDL, but I don't really like doing these)
95 lbs x 15
95 lbs x 15
95 lbs x 15

Post Workout Thoughts:
Well, I did an extra heavy double of squats and an extra set of lunges. Towards the very end of the lunges, my hamstrings felt like they were about to start cramping up again. Much better than last time though. The workout was a success although I feel like I should invest in some taurine, although it may be too late by the time it comes here. Sweating like a mofo, getting good leg pumps (either due to extra volume/shorter rest in between sets/the supplemental effects), and breathing/endurance are awesome. I will weigh myself dry tomorrow.

Yesterday's macros:
2800 calories
180g protein
92g fat
Fill rest with carbs.

Happy Labor Day! Thankfully, my gym is still open today so I'll be going soon.

Weigh In: 197 lbs

Just got back from the gym. In my opinion, I killed it this time. Lots more reps and stuff.

Day 9:

Bench Press:
Bar x5
115 x4
135 x3
155 x2
175 x1
205 x2
205 x2
205 x2
205 x2

DB Incline Press:
50 lbs x 10 --> Turns out this was too much of a jump to do for 4 more sets, so I dialed it back down slightly
45 lbs x 10
45 lbs x 10
45 lbs x 10
45 lbs x 10

Tricep Pulldown:
6 stacks x 15
6 stacks x 15
6 stacks x 15
6 stacks x 15
6 stacks x 15

Post Workout Thoughts:
Feeling awesome. Put out a decent amount more volume this workout. Improvements from last workout are in bold. Definitely had more heavy doubles in me but I want to scale up slowly so I don't burn myself out mentally too quickly. I was well hydrated, but I definitely recommend investing in Taurine. I don't know if it'll help with the specific problem, but it'd definitely make me feel better about going all out. Decent leg drive on the bench pressing, but still not the best amount because of the silght fear of cramps (I don't have a spotter so I'd rather not smash the bar on myself). Vascularity is up, and pumps are up (but this could be the increased volume coming into play, so we'll see). My weight is 4 lbs from original weigh in as stated in the other post, but this could be due to the increase in carb intake since I've been eating slightly more lately, or increased LBM/etc. Too early to tell.

All good stuff! Better glycogen retention could also be the cause for weight gain. Which leads to better pumps/workouts since you're muscles are holding and storing more energy. Did you end up buying taurine?

Yup. It should be on it's way....eventually? Haha.

Lol nice. Good thing about Taurine is its dirt cheap. I use it essentially year round

I've been having an awful time finding it tho. I had the gf order some from bb.com since np and just about everywhere else had it sold out or way too expensive

Woke up and felt mega sore from yesterday, which tells me I'm definitely pushing myself hard.

Day 10:

Pendlay Row:
Bar x5
95lbs x4
115lbs x3
135lbs x2
155lbs x2
165lbs x1
175lbs x2
175lbs x2
175lbs x2
175lbs x2

One Armed DB Row:
50lbs x 10 x 2
50lbs x 10 x 2
50lbs x 10 x 2
50lbs x 10 x 2
50lbs x 10 x 2

Lat Pulldown:
9 stacks x 10
9 stacks x 10
9 stacks x 10
9 stacks x 10
9 stacks x 10

Seated Cable Row:
8 stacks x 15
8 stacks x 15
8 stacks x 15
8 stacks x 15
8 stacks x 15

Post Workout Thoughts:
I've never been able to increase the effort/intensity/volume of my assistance lifts within a week, so I can tell I'm either getting stronger or the supplement is kicking in (which in turn is making me feel stronger). Reps are easier overall, breathing is easier overall, and I feel like I can keep on going. I'll probably add another stack to my lat pulldowns since they felt REALLY easy. I think things are finally kicking in. Feeling great overall!

Today's macros:
2800 calories
215g Protein
65g Fat
Fill rest with carbs.

Tomorrow will be a rest/cardio day.

Day 11:

60 minute Incline Walk (4% incline, 3 MPH)

Figured I'd give myself a small break today. I'll be back in it tomorrow though.

Macros are gonna look ugly tonight. It's my birthday today and I'm already sitting at the following:

2700 calories
155g Protein
101g Fat
Fill rest with carbs

So yeah, here come the gains. LOL.

Happy birthday btw!
