ma70's Iron Legion Invictus Log (Unsponsored)

Alright. Same old same old today. Today was the "recovery workout" of the week. Lethargic upon waking up and through my workout, yet I was still doing my sets just fine cause I'm trying much harder to be in the zone (fighting lethargy is killer). Also, no joint pain at all. This leads me to believe that the possible joint pains/aches that almost came up were possibly caused by bad form/technique while working out due to my extreme lethargy in the mornings. Now that I'm really trying extra hard to nail the form down, there is no sign of it at all. There is still a "tenderness" though, but this can be due to the caloric deficit more than the supplement itself, but who knows. Maybe I'll test it out one day during a lean bulk. Either way, this is the only cortisol supplement I've used to successfully "reduce cortisol" (anecdotally based on feeling) while not effecting my joint health. Also, unlike most fat burners that suppress appetite, this stuff really suppresses CRAVINGS and possibly emotional control while dieting. This is by far way more important to me than anything I've ever dealt with. I've done intermittent fasting (and still do), lots of veggies/water while dieting and it's never been like this before. Granted, this could be said for any other cortisol supplement but this is the only one I can use without negative sides.

I've used Abliderate Ammo, Reduce XT, and KSM-66. KSM-66 obviously had the least sides because its not really a cortisol "reducer", but a cortisol "normalizer". Abliderate Ammo was tolerable in regards to side effects, while Reduce XT was just no good at all for me. Not sure why this is, but b-AET is a great ingredient for me. My first bottle is on it's way out (I give it 1-2 more doses/days) and I will definitely be continuing this cut with the second bottle I have. Remember, I'm n=1 and I'm not bashing any of these other products, but for ME, Invictus (or whatever other supplement that comes out in the future with this ingredient) is my thing.

Also, while I keep complaining about lethargy, if I probably used a pre-workout like OL Conqu3r Unleashed or even Mesomorph (never used this before, so can't comment) I'd probably be slaying these workouts fine.

Today was my last dose of my first bottle making it last about 24 days. This could be to slight inaccuracies in my dosing (I just look to see if it's around the 0.5 mL per suction, I didn't go for an exact amount so I might have slightly been "overdosing"). Either way, that doesn't matter cause it's giving me the results I want and honestly, if I didn't "freestyle" every weekend I'd probably have lost more weight, although I usually stay around maintenance calories on the weekends. My current calorie deficit is about 750 cals give or take, which should result in 1.5 lbs every week (assuming I do zero cardio and workout 3 times a week), but given the slight variables of my busy lifestyle it makes it completely hard to keep track of EVERYTHING, but I'm still on track with around 1-1.5 lbs a week. Considering that I'm used to dieting in a maximum of 500 calorie deficit, and I'm feeling pretty damn good on a 500+ calorie deficit is something to attest to.

I will definitely be continuing my run. Tomorrow is the weekly weigh in so we'll see if last weekends sushi buffet spree completely stalled my weight loss (due to overeating)

sounds like this is quite the success! are you going to keep the log on the second bottle?

I may come back to this thread from time to time to update on my progress, but it'll be less detailed than it is now. (Heck, even now, I don't really feel like this log is detailed)

Life's been busy and I don't think there's much to report other than the same lethargy, etc. You know?

I wouldn't mind a quick update from time to time.

Yeah, no problem!

Also, today's weekly weigh in has me at 196.6 again. My weight hasn't changed from last week, but it is probably due to my crazy weekend last week where I pretty much wasn't on point with anything and sushi buffet cheated on Sunday. Best part of being the same weight though is that I still feel as strong as I did last week if not stronger, but we'll see how Intensity day goes. This lethargy is killing me.

So today, my deadlift stalled (mostly due to lack of energy, not cause I didn't feel strong enough) but my squat pattern/bench press progressed. Overall, at this 196.6, I am definitely doing way better than last week. I really hate trying to make small distinctions, but my mid section looks ever so slightly better than last week (at the same weight) and as someone who usually wears tight jeans and tight boxer briefs, there is definitely some leg hypertrophy. This is noticeable because all of my clothes are generally "well fitted". My diet has been the EXACT SAME THING and it's not a pump phenomenon or anything, cause even on off days it feels tighter around my boxers.

Final review/thoughts below for my first bottle.

BOTTLE 1 FINAL REVIEW:
Okay, I've already rambled on in the thread enough so first, we will start with lists.

PROS:
- After 1.5 weeks, I've had the best sleep of my life. This is superior to the old sleep stack combo I had which consisted of 100mg L-Theanine, 500mg Relora, and 100mg 5-HTP
- Feelings of relaxation (sort of absent minded kind of feeling)
- Possible body composition improvements
- Impulse/hunger control while in a decent deficit

CONS:
- Lethargy. As expected of DHEA/DHEA metabolites, a person who's "relatively young" (26) should generally feel lethargy from these kinds of compounds
- Acne. At first, I thought this may have been in my head until I realized there are some bits of info that say that while this may lower total test, it increases the amount of free test. Getting acne on my chest and back are very rare. Even random pimples on my legs.

I went down from around 202 to 196 in 3.5 weeks (the bottle lasted 24ish days). Combined with the fact that my diet was not 100% on point on weekends and the fact that I still managed to get some good strength progression out of the Texas Method, this is pretty nice. I recommend this for people who have a lot of visceral fat, or for people with low diet control in regards to cravings. I wouldn't call this appetite suppression....but it just makes me think less about the "good foods" I am missing out on. I've tried intermittent fasting (which I still do) and eating lots of veggies with lots of water, but this supplement definitely made the difference in regards to next level hunger/craving control.

I was weighing 196.8 yesterday, so by this Friday I'll probably be lighter (I basically gain slight water/glycogen weight during the weekends then my deficit during the weekdays brings me back down). Commenting on progress and everything, I do feel slight muscle soreness/tenderness but that's probably from my deficit. The slightly achey joints have gone away too, and I'm beginning to think it had nothing to do with the product except the lethargy. With the heavy lethargy, my mind/muscle connection was probably trash and I probably had bad form with my pressing movements. Now that I'm extra focused on my movements, I do not feel them anymore.

All progress on all lifts today @ around 196. This is the best "196" I've been, in regards to body comp+strength. The lethargy does make it hard to concentrate so I can only imagine what things would be like if I took a pre-workout.

Nice progress bro !!!

Interesting note....I can't remember if b-AET was supposed to have immune system boosting properties, but I've been around a very sick person for 2 days or so with no signs of catching whatever they got. In my unfortunate experience, I pretty much catch anything people have almost 100%. Take this with a grain of salt, but it's just a random observation of mine.

Haven't been updating too much due to being busy, and also its probably getting boring to complain about lethargy all the time. Anyways, still making good progress on my lifts. I've decided to stop "cutting" for now and go back to maintenance mode because I think I've shed enough pounds to try and stabilize my weight now. Volume day on Monday was nuts. The weights really crushed me (mentally/physically) but I still managed to do everything without form break down. I had major DOMS and all that stuff, and today I don't even think I was fully recovered, but I still managed to do my sets since it's recovery day. Still making strength progressions so I'm happy, because at 196, this is the best strength/weight ratio I've had. I'm not hitting lifetime PRs, but at my current weight, I'm happy particularly with my pressing strength.

b-AET may have immune boosting properties and may even help to protect from radiation and environmental toxins.

Seems like it's doing its thing for the most part. I generally avoid sick people like the plague because I almost always get sick because of them. Obviously, I can't avoid my girlfriend especially when she's at my place, so this is something I couldn't do and I'm very surprised to find out I'm not sick at all.

That's awesome. Maybe I'll run a low dose throughout the winter or even as a staple supp.

I've been at maintenance for about two days and I gotta say the lethargy is nowhere near as bad as before. I mean, of course, on a 750 cal per day deficit of course I would feel less energy but Invictus definitely magnified it. I'm only SLIGHTLY lethargic now at maintenance calories, so I guess at smaller calorie deficits this is definitely gold. I mean, any lethargy could be combatted by using more stims/preworkouts and stuff, but I'm trying to get as much info out of this run so I can plan for future runs with it. My diet (regarding maintenance) has been the exact same as my cutting diet, except 600 extra calories of carbs, if that means anything to you guys.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I've been MEGA busy lately. Progress is still constant (mostly cause I've been sitting at maintenance) and I gotta say, I like how I look. Thanks to the glycogen storage I'm back up to 199-200 (which is NORMAL when I'm not glycogen depleted). I look way better than before mostly because my muscles aren't flat and Invictus seems to be keeping me dry. Lethargy is way less pronounced now that I'm not 750 cals in the hole, so I guess I can't completely blame the supplement for that, but of course, sleep is still top notch. I really liked this stuff on a "larger" deficit because it just controlled my hunger and I figured I might as well make the most out of it, but next time I'll be sure to either go in smaller deficits or on better stims.

Also, the side benefits cannot be ignored. I'm still not sick (in case people were wondering). I won't push my luck by testing it out further, but it definitely kept me from getting from whatever my girlfriend had.

So now that I've been hovering at maintenance, workout performance is nuts. I was pretty much "due to stall" this week but after eating at maintenance, I completely slayed my sets today. They felt pretty light and I have pretty good speed on the sets. I will 100% be getting another two bottles for a future cut, but this time I'll be packing some better stims. Probably gonna try the same 750-1000 cal deficit but I'm gonna be doing a stack. I'm pleased with invictus solo

Good job. I hate that feeling as well!

Yeah, I think expecting to get stronger (at my current body weight) via linear progression weekly in a 750 cal cut is greedy, so I just decided to bump up slowly to maintenance then maintain the weight for now. I don't think it's safe to max out on deadlifts/squats/pressing in one session when I was super lethargic and feeling sluggish.

Dude....there were some days I dreaded going to the gym just thinking "I have to beat my record on all 3 of these lifts in one session" when I could barely get out of my bed. I could feel the form on some of my lifts getting slightly ugly.

dreaded gym days actually become great ones because you push yourself harder, with the exception of having to do that- that is Arnold lifting right there and credit to you bro. that not only becomes a physical thing but a complete mind game

It is completely mental for sure.

haha, I would love to consider myself a champion, but I'm pretty average!

Best part is that I knew once I started eating some calories near my maintenance I'd be crushing all of these lifts. Glycogen + mental energy are massively different these days.

Not much to report. Eating at maintenance just means weekly progression is easy again. One interesting thing to note is an increase in body temperature. I am sweating randomly for no reason at times and I always feel hot. Specifically when eating carbohydrates. I can't tell if that's a sign of really good insulin sensitivity (since I cut my carbs down for awhile) or the supplement though.

Wat dosage are u running ?

1 mL post workout (which is in the morning). For what it's worth, eating certain carbs have always gotten me a little warmed up which I've read is a sign of good insulin sensitivity (I'm a carb crusher, I don't get fat off eating 300+g carbs daily) but I feel hot almost all day on this stuff sometimes.

Its a damn good cutter . Since i been using it applying to my abdomen region. A few issues where I forgot to eat and got hypoglycemic fast . Now i make sure to eat before . And I only use when I know it will set in well . So far great results. Have u adjusted the dosage at all ? Or has it ben 1 mL right from the start?

For logging purposes (even though this is unsponsored) I've kept it at 1mL post workout the entire log. You've had success applying to the abdomen? I've mostly applied it on the shoulders/clavicle region for the best absorption.

Yes ... ive done inner bicep and forearms as well.
Iam running invictus and vitrus . 4 hrs apart
Both applied after a meal . Invictus was 1 mL for 3 weeks vitrus was 1mL for 4 weeks. Blood test tomorrow will be posting result in log :)
Im not sure what level of training your currently on . But I want to share this channel with you jericho dmz on youtube.

This is the video that brought me back from the abyss.

Just gonna bump this for my last update since my last dosage will be tomorrow. Being at maintenance is awesome. This stuff is probably favorable for all situations (bulk, recomp, cut) because cruising at maintenance right now, I'm up to 201 (probably ~197 "dry") and making great progress on my lifts, and my body comp is looking favorable. This is probably my overall best cut that I've had and hopefully I can stay this strong and lean for awhile because I will be jumping on the DCP bandwagon soon. I really loved this stuff. The effects of the second bottle are exactly the same as the first one so there's no point in posting that feedback here, but I ended up finding out some good side benefits of Invictus through running it longer (like the immune system boosting, etc)

Props to Iron Legion for putting out the good stuff.

Awesome, and exactly why I'm going to run 2 bottles as well.
