M4OHN with PEG400, won't dissolve, HELP!!!!

I put 1g (1000mg) of M4OHN in 16oz (473.12ml) of PEG400 which will yield me 2.114mg/ml. My only problem is that I can't get all the M4OHN powder to completely dissolve. I have put it in several hot baths and have shaken it for several minutes on end. I have to shake it every time I use it to get the powder that has settled to the bottom of the bottle to suspend in the solution. My only worry is that I don't get the 2.114mg/ml each time I use it.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
 
2 mg/ml should be fine (yours is 2.11 mg/ml). Sledge is testing with olive oil at 5 mg/ml, so you should be doing everything right. I guess your fall back position should be to add more PEG (or extra virgin olive oil) and try to get to 1 mg/ml.

Is the container plastic? And what do you mean by hot water bath?

One more question for my peace of mind. How long will the mixed solution of PEG400 and M4OHN be good for? I have approximately 480ml of solution at 2mg/ml and will only use around 120ml per cylcle. That means I'll have about 360ml remaining, already mixed, after my first cycle.
 
This stuff doesnt mix with 99ml of peg 400 to make a 10mg/ml solution. I have tried using boiling water for 3 days now for 20 minutes and it still doesnt stay mixed. I thought sledge got this to stay in solution?

MOHN mixed with 151 rum at 5mg/ML seems to result in a pretty decent "suspension". A small amount settles at the bottom however, it looks pretty good after a few shakes. No crystalization. After one week it seems to be working pretty well at 5mg/day.

I may be missing the boat here but I am not sure why everyone wants a solution so bad (accurate dosing?). A product like Winny V is in a suspension.

Just a though/question. Like I said I may be missing the boat here.

it'll mix at 5mg/ml with peg400. just add another 100ml of peg 400.
 
Can i just heat this every time I use this? because im still having trouble getting this suspended in solution. I've mixed one gram of m4ohn into 200 ml of peg400 for a 5mg/ml and i still cant get it to stay suspended.

and ive heated it for 45 minutes

mine's made up at 5mg/ml as well. it'll separate still after a few hours, but you only have to shake it up before using it. no need to heat it again unless you're getting large undissolved particles floating around.

no large particles but still a lot of small particles at the top.
 
Has anyone tried microwaving yet? If so, how did you do it, and what were your results? I ask because this is the method I would prefer to use.

you shouldn't have any particles floating on top at 5mg/ml in peg 400. all i can say is heat and shake 3X. if that fails, add more peg and make a 2mg/ml M4OHN solution. good luck.

you can bake your M4OHN solution in a pre-heated 225degree oven or water bath, but don't microwave the M4OHN as it may destroy the powder.
 
Well, I made my solution this morning. I went with 200ml of PEG400 and 1gram of M4OHN, thus yielding a 5mg/ml concentration.

I baked for 60 minutes at 225degrees F. Every 15 minutes I took the bottle out of the oven and shook the hell out of it for a minute or so. Upon removing the bottle for the last time, I shook it for several minutes.

My results are pretty much the same as everyone else. There is still a bit that wouldn't go into solution, but it's obvious that most of it did. The difference between before and after baking is night and day. My solution has a bit of a yellow-orange tint to it. This may be however because the bottle I used was from a bottle of expired Taco Bell hot sauce. I cleaned it pretty thoroughly, but I'm sure there was some still in the bottle and cap. But now the stuff smells like the sauce packets you get at Taco Bell. Rather amusing if you ask me. Mmmm, taco flavored steroids. It can't get much better than that.
 
So is it safe to assume that 5mg solution in peg400 WILL NOT work??? I noticed on dsupps website the directions show how to make a 2mg solution...Does anyone think 4mg will work??
 
I have mine at 10mg/ml in peg400 and it is crashed. I don't care I just shake well before serving I'm not going to freak if my dose goes +/- 2 mg.

5mg/ml will work in peg 400. i know cuz mine came out fine. i don't know if anything higher would work.
