M-Test...the last thing keeping me from the darkside

I almost feel as good as I did when I was 26, 27. I am feeling really good. Like my old normal. It's giving me more weight room confidence. 2 or 3 weeks ago I tried the 90s for incline presses for the first time. I got it for 3. Today, I got them for 5. I don't think it's making me stronger as much as I feel stronger, which is giving me the confidence to push through more reps. I am not getting the inappropriate work boners like when I was younger, but overall I feel very good. Really liking the start to this being only about 9 days in.

I wasn't aware that there was such a thing as "inappropriate boners". Maybe that explains why I'm not allowed in the library anymore.

I'm glad to hear that M-TEST is helping out with confidence, it definitely seems to help with that! I'm stoked to start mine Friday :)
 
What it is gentlemen? I hadn't had a chance to post this morning's workout yet. It was kind of poop. I went to bed late. (well worth it....lol). Got up way later than planned and didn't get to the gym until 6:10. I had to be at work at 7. Got started at 6:15 and only had a half hour. So I didn't really get in the unilateral stuff that I normally like to do.

Chest supported row: 45lb plate by 10, +25 pounds by 10, 2 45s by 9, +10 pounds by 8. Then I took the 10 and 45 off and put on 2 25s. Did a drop set. 6 reps, took off a 25, 6 reps, took off a 25, and finished with just the 45 for 6. Rest was long enough to strip a plate off.

Pull ups: These sucked today. 4 sets rest-pause style. 4+3, 4+3, 3+3, 4+3. Hated these today! haha

[BMedium grip cable row/wide grip pulldown superset[/B]: 2 sets. 10/10, 10/8.

2 sets of shoulder high face pulls.

So today wasn't very awesome at all. I did weigh in at 194, though. :)
 
Still no music. Almost 2 weeks in a row. I will be real excited when I get some new ear phones. My drive and focus amd want to has been outstanding. No outside influences to amp me up besides my regular ole pre-workout. And fun time with the wife felt outstanding! I almost felt bad....haha

Further goal stating. My gym owner is also an NPC bodybuilder. TJ Clark. Asked me if I had ever thought of competing and offered to help me get ready. He thinks I could be ready by spring/summer. So I am shooting for a summer show.
 
Bro even if you gain a little extra that wanted in the midsection you're training hard and doing this right it'll melt off quickly. It does suck losing the abs but just know they're growing too so when it comes off you'll b loving it. At least that's what I keep telling myself

Update on M-Test. The shyts have finally stopped when dosing. For me, it took about a week and a half. I am getting no more or no less morning wood. I am still feeling pretty good. Feeling strong. Still have been training with no music and having good sessions. Load quality is better. Being able to train harder is obviously improving my body. I am purchasing a second bottle this weekend and maybe 2 bottles of Inhibit-E and see what a natty stack like that would be together as I loved my solo run on it.

I'd start with a lower dose of inhibit e and taper up. Too much can actually be an issue pretty quick

Indeed. That is how I did it solo. Tapered up and then down.

That's the way. Stuff can actually be too strong for just running natty. Always nice to see stuff that doesn't require a mega dose but instead a taper up ha

Had a gym partial today. New power rack and reworked the floor. Looks pretty bad @ss what they have done. Today's session started later than usual because I petered around for a bit trying to get lovins from the wife. It was a good thing I was denied until this evening because I wouldn't have made it. Today was 16 sets in about 40 minutes. I will have to make up calves tomorrow, just no time.

Leg extensions: 180x12, 195x12, 210x12. 2 second peak contraction hold each rep. Will up the weight next week.

Front squats: 135x7, 155x7, 175x7, 195x7, 205x4. I didn't have time to go through my pause set and time under tension set. 205x4 is the most I have been comfortable doing in awhile. Slowing building confidence even though my hip and knee are still acting like bytches.

Leg press/barbell hack squat superset: I didn't have time for you usual training, so I tried to make up for it with a little more intensity. 4ppsx12/145x10, 5ppsx12/155x10, 6ppsx12/165x7, 7ppsx12/175x5. Legs were feeling it after the last 2 sets when I could barely stand back up with the barbell. I use the 25s and under for my barbell hack squat to increase the ROM.

Short but reasonably intense. Next week u will make a better effort to get in earlier to get my work done! haha Sometimes having a sexy wife just messes up your plans!

Good fcking morning this morning. Got about 6 hours of sleep, but that was because the wife wanted some goodness. Orgasms feel better and longer. So that is nice. Onto my session this morning. Had 40 minutes or so...

Incline dumbbell press: 75x8, 85x8, 90x7!. This was fcking exciting. I remember the last time I did inclines awhile back and struggled and used all my energy to get the 85s in place....haha. Now, I am ready to try the 95s next week. Side note: I don't have anyone help me get them up. So if I can't do it on my own, I haven't earned it. Finished with 70x7 with a 2 second pause at the bottom of each rep. Then the 70s again for 5, this time 4 second negative each rep.

Reverse grip bench press: 135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 195x4. The 135 for a set of 6 at a 4 second negative, 2 second pause at the bottom, and 4 second positive with no pause at the top.

Reverse grip incline press/incline flyes superset: only used 95 for the press. Did it at a 4, 2, 4 tempo for 6 and 35s on the flyes for 8. Next set only 5 reps at that tempo and 8 again on the flyes. Chest was done! Finished the second set of that superset with feet elevated on a bench push ups. Real nice day. I am getting stronger, hoping it will translate into better chest development.

You reverse grip incline too? never thought about trying that? hit reverse grip flat again.. working like a charm!

Nice work, man! Glad to see that M-Test making time with the wife more enjoyable :)

It's overall. If my body wasn't hurting all the time, I would feel like I did in my mid-twenties.

Barbell....yes sir. I hate reverse grip with dumbbells. Feels like I spend too much time farting around keeping them reverse...haha
