Lower damage Anti-Catabolic Boozing...

I know this is a touchy subject, but recently I played around with a new drink..

Base Drink/Booze + Damage minimizer (reducing catabolism + reducing hangover)

1-2 servings Scivation XTEND Watermelon Flavor or Crowler's BCAA drink (havent tried it yet, but know it's as good or better tasting)

Optional for hangover prevention taken before + with ample water through the night = 1 serving Designer Supps XCEED -- particularly for creatine and taurine ingredients

1 shot good vodka - like grey goose

Mixers:
(1) Low Cal Cranberry Juice + Ice in a shaker for a lower damage cosmo type drink. There's some 5 calorie stuff just out that tastes as good as the low sugar

(2) or mix with one of the Hansen's Sugar Free sodas on such as the Kiwi-Strawberry, Orange, or Soda 3-6 oz on the rocks. The BCAA's will float around but hey, you can handle it. it tastes good.

Another option is do a mixer of Patron Silver or Cuervo 1800 silver, with or without the Patron Citronage, and press a few limes plus a packet of splenda to taste, and do the Xtend in the drink or as the chaser with some soda

I know this sounds wacky, but the Xtend/BCAA mix actually is quite tasty, and it makes for a nice counterbalance to the booze, if you're not going to be eating alot while partying. The Xceed is tangy, so nice for a margarita type drink if you want to go that route

Combine with a preload of some K-RALA, Liv.52 and a milk thistle and a little sesamin, and for that once in a while party night you dont need to feel as guilty.

Xtend is a Scivation product, Xceed is Designer Supplements. Adding our Xceed to the mix wouldn't hurt. Being fully hydrated before any drinking will help. Not saying it will prevent any damage per se, but it can definitely help with preventing or lessening hangovers. Taurine is awesome for this. There is taurine in Xceed, but adding more taurine to the mix for this purpose is recommended. You'd probably have better results if you took a creatine/taurine type product (with plenty of water) a few hours before drinking. Also, forcing yourself to drink a lot of water in between alcoholic drinks will help. (god i'm tired I just typed 'imagine' when I meant 'in-between'.. wtf, working nights sucks).

TSC, thanks for catching my typo and poor editing - I like the combo of the bcaa's + the creatine, taurine, and when I think about it, I think I've done the stack more with CEE +Taurine than without, though never preloaded like you describe. Not that I do this alot :-)

Anyways, my apologies for gaffing the product names when making the recipe and collapsing together. I'll edit the original

hey its late. I had to reread my post a few times to catch all of the leftout words, wrong words etc. My mind to finger connection shuts down after midnight. see, I just wrote 'types' when I meant 'times' .. thats it, I'm done for tonight.

my brother said taurine is some really bad stuff for you. But probably what he considers bad and what you guys think is bad for you are completely different.

He was saying how it soaks through your intestines or soemthing like reverse osmosis and puts a lot of stress on your body. He sounds like he is full of it when I tried to describe it.

I will be looking into the supps u all were talking about, because it doesn't matter how pyschd I am about getting in shape just a couple of groups of friends brings out the social alcoholic in me.

I feel you bro. It took me a long time to grow out of that stage of not necessarily peer pressure but just saying F U, I can get girls and still have an amazing body. You begin to realize the nicer body compensates for the increased "game" you have when drinking haha. Good luck though in your endevours.
