I am so confused as to y my lower abs do not show as much as id like... I have around 6.5% bf at 170 pounds 5'9"... All of my muscles are extremely tight with no extra skin but i just have a tiny pouch covering my lower abs which are visible but not how id like them to be... I train abs hard around 3 days a week i even isolate my lower abs in most of my workouts.. I eat pretty healthy and excercise 6 days a week im starting to do interval sprint training maybe that will help? Someone give me some ideas please and thanks

Training abs is the issue maybe 1% of the time, BF% is always the culprit.

If you are directly training them 3x a week (3x more than i do lol) they should be showing.

My guess is you are a bit above that BF%

At the very end of a cut (where you myst be at that BF%)

I find certain things with the stubborn very last bit

Like an AI or cortisol control.

As Driven mentioned, body fat is usually the issue, and lower abdominal fat is the last to go in many cases.

I've had success with Yohimbine HCL or yohimbe containing products when trying to get rid of that last bit of stubborn abdominal fat.

welcome to the human race.

are you a competing bodybuilder? if not i would worry about making the muscles stronger and bigger. i bet they will pop when they are big enough.

I might get hate for this, but try to hit a set of 20-30 reps of an ab exercise around every hour and it should help some since you are already at such a low bf%.
I think spot reduction is stupid, but when you are that low of a bf% the increased blood flow can help to release fat storage in the area.
Give it a try for a week or 2 and see if you can tell a difference.

Also what everyone else said. Take in some extra vitamin C through the day to help in case it is cortisol related.
