Hi all, new here.

Started HRT with my ins doc
Took blood Test was at 310
Estrogen was off the charts high wanna say 38, 48 (have to go look)

Doc has me on 200mg cyp/wk test wants me to go 10 wks then retest.
I feel like hell. After 2 wks started to get more libido then it went away.

Very low energy moody etc.
So after wk 5 I can barely get energy to get in the car to go to work.
Took another 200mg and within hrs felt....better I guess. Hadnt felt like that in many many yrs.

I went in and talked to him and asked him about anti-estrogens. I brought in a bottle of Anastrozle and Tamoxifen from a place I was doing HRT throguh a yr ago before I quit. I also showed him their lab results showing the high estrogen.
This Doc did not test for it.

He said no not to do anything except his protocol..I simply dont have the energy to function at all. Been on vacation and in 2 days havent done much except try to sleep and sit here drinking coffee lol.

I do workout and diet right. Gains in the gym are good but my god I have to down 1/2 pot coffee to even get there.

This aint living folks. Anyway I used the rest of it and its 2wks before I retest.

Worried about my job really, feel very very lethargic and its starting to show.

Anyway Whats the best way to approach him?
I understand a good Dr has to take a step at a time and be conservative but man.
A yr ago I went through another place before I had ins and showed him my results even with taking 350mg a week it was only 390..They are still around but just too expensive for me.

anyone?

This is common practice in antiaging clinics. Giving 200 mgs of testosterone once a week, causing already high e2 to go higher. Your Dr is an uneducated in the proper HRT protocols. We never leave a patient hanging in the balance without properly assessing other hormones and thyroid parameters. With T of 310 depending on the factors age and stress being the biggest one, some times HRT is not needed at first. Not to many medical professionals take the time to look for the root causes to why your levels are low. If you are < early 30's then there is a greater chance of having it come back on its own when imbalances are found and corrected. I have seen this in a lot of dr's patients I have made the same recommendations to.
Here are my suggestion
1. Kick this guy to the curb before he does more damage and get with a person who is more up to date on the latest protocols. If you need help I have a lot of Dr's around the united states whom I be glad to recommend who I feel are the top in the game. I would not recommend or refer someone who was not going to get job done because its my reputation on the line. I do work with an MD who is one of the top in the business at trying to finding why you are having low levels. We move fast and get the job done where countless of other dr's have failed

2. Reduce dosage to 100 mgs a week split into 2 50 mgs shot m, th. By reducing your total T this will reduce e2. Now as for e2 we do not run an AI right away as correcting T levels some times reduces e2 levels in some men. So all these Dr's running AI off the bat are morons setting you up for failure.

3. If a dr is so hell bent on enforcing his protocol then I would consider him an ego maniac and it would result in terminating your partnership

4. After starting on HRT then your thyroid and adrenals could have been imbalanced resulting in how you are feeling, These need to be properly evaluated before starting HRT.

If you need contact info feel free to PM me.
