Low Cortisol and TRT

If you have low cortisol, 9.9 with a ref range of 8.7 - 22.4, should that be dealt with first before starting TRT?

The more I look into it, it looks like it should have been dealt with first. Since it wasn't, do I need to stop TRT and get adrenal and thyroid levels in the desired ranges first and then go back on TRT?

Thanks Dr. John.

I'm still hoping my doc will contact you soon. In the meantime, would it be a big waste of my out of pocket expense to do the saliva test while I wait?

To refresh your memory I have started 100mg T shots (fourth one tomorrow) and doing Isocort.

The saliva test would be good but you need to come off the Isocort slow like one pill a week and be off it for about 2 weeks to do the test. Yet in the book Safe Uses of Cortisol the Dr. did testing when they were on HC. I guess his point was to have ones levels on HC in the best range not to high.
