Grew up in Namibia,not part of the South African past,live in South Africa at current,2000 illegal Zimbabwean imigrants per week,over a thousand from other african countries,3 out of 5 women raped,43 car hijacks per day 1.3 cash intransit vechiles hijacked each day 23000 people killed in crime related incidents last year,myself in 3 three shooting incidents in the last year,dad shot in front of me,mother tied up,beaten all friends at least once a serious crime victim,borders are uncontrolled and this is the result.Ok worst of all I am in the IT and Fitness industry which is supposed to be safe.
I live in a securety complex,guards at gate,electric fencing,Alarm system with Armed response,burglar bars right round,Safety gate in front of bedroom door and still had an attemted burglary last week.
As in DRC,Rwanda,Tanzanie,Haiti we will face a full scale genocide on anthing that is not black......within the next 5 years,this is obviously all kept out of the media for obvious reasons :study:

Off the topic a little, but I got some "inside" information on the Phoenix protest that took place last Monday.
I spoke to a police officer at my gym, from what he told me, Phoenix PD had all their gang units, all their special units from the projects, and all their SWAT team attending the march. There were literally police snipers on the rooftops, able to deal with any problems real time. There were "spotters" watching the whole situation as it unfolded. All were in radio contact. 'no surprise that everything was under control.
This was the first time I had spoken to a police officer in 20 years. Highly recommended. It's a real eye-opening experience.
As it turns out... 85% of the gangs in Phoenix are Mexican. There are 40 black gangs, and a few white gangs as well.
I really don't have much else to add here...

The best way I see of putting this to an end is:
1) Fence over easily accessible parts of the border
2) slam employers who hire illegal aliens wth $20,000 fines for each violation. This is the essence of ending our problems in a cost-effective manner.
3) very important - increase enforcement capacities - w/o this, #2 does not work
4) allow local police forces to make arrests and coordinate with federal agents
5) Produce ID cards for workers to allow them to come to the US for very short periods of time (say 2 years) that are very difficult to forge. Make them as tough as our currency. This holds employers accountable and discourages fraud.
6) Absolutely no social services for these invaders. No anchor babies.
There's no need to make these people felons. If we implement #2, #3, and #6, we remove the incentives to come here outside of the terms that we specify. Employers will avoid hiring illegals at all costs if it's going to cost them $$$$ and possibly jail time AND they know that people are looking over their shoulders to enforce the law.
This is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with seriously.
A guest worker program is okay, but it needs to be short term, the border needs to be secure when it is implemented, and IT MUST levy substantial fines against employers who hire illegals.
I'd like to see a hotline where citizens could report employers who hire illegal aliens, as well.

The issue is that their racist and corrupt government is pawning off the Mestizos on us while the Spaniard elite (that's what they call them in Mexico) rack in all the money.
There is no reason that these people should be this poor. Yes, they'd be poorer than our citizens, but they should be able to feed their families and lead normal lives. Mexico's corrupt government needs to be fixed.
Giving these people amnesty is also the last thing in the world that's going to address the corrupt Mexican government.

What is wrong with what they are doing? The country was founded on immigration. Most of us would not be here had there been the "great" federal gov't we have now. People protest; The Million Man March? What was that about anyway? I agree it should be done legally, but is what most of us put in our bodies, "legal"? I support them. If I had a family to support and lived in Mexico, my ass would be coming here. If they come here to work, let them in, just don't sit on your ass!

Then let these minions arrive in America, declare the Reconquists, and maybe reclaim Arizona. All paid for by Americans.
Meanwhile these illegals drive down the wages that Americans would earn. This is particularly true of wages for blacks, who compete for Latinoes for many of these jobs. They drive Americans out of construction, out of landscaping, out of carpentry, out of factories, etc...
Illegal immigration costs this country about 13-billion dollars per year. That excludes what it costs to educate their kids. Nevermind the cultural damage and the balkanization that we are seeing.
Sorry, I think illegal immigrants are doing plenty wrong. And the businesses that hire them are doing even worse.
I guess we all have a voice in this, but I for one am sick and tired of this problem. It's time to fix it.

Yes, "we" took the lives and land of indigenous Americans, and so the Romans took the lives and lands of all of Europe. So with the Greeks. As Klugman mentions, so with the Germanic tribes. So with the any nation state in existence, including those Indian nations that we conquered (many of which were, of course, founded by warfare against other Indian nations). War and conquest have been and continue to be the determinant of national borders. That a nation acquired land through war doesn't mean we discount the rule of law of the world's nations.
If one cannot control one's borders and the populace, there exists the possibility that populations will begin flecking off or that others will enter, conquer, and divide. See Lebanon or Papua New Guinea for more recent examples.
What is relevant is our nation, its laws at the present moment, and our national security. As is our nation's past a lens through which we understand the above.

I think that a commercial solution is the best idea. If the mexican economy was more stable, it could support more people. It may be time to forgo culture and adopt a USA-like capitalist consumer culture.
Although, now that they are legalizing drugs there may be a reverse migration!

In the end this isn't about immgration. We have an immgration policy and a lot of people have complied with it and become citizens or legal residents. It's about illegal immigration. We are going to have a process for immigration into this country or we won't. If we don't, it's open borders plain and simple. If we do have a process and it is enforced, those who violate it are here illegally and should be arrested and deported.
Can the process of immigration be made simpler? Perhaps. Are there people here illegally now that might deserve or have some claim of citizenship in some moral or ethical way? Perhaps. Point being the issues are law and security, not what some people think they have a right to demand after violating a fairly serious set of laws.
Nothing will be done about this. With all respect to everyone who thinks something can be done, several thousand Americans lost their lives on 9/11, and they were killed by people most of whom overstayed their visas and who were here illegally and should have been deported, much less let into the country to begin with. If that doesn't jump start the government to do something, nothing will. It also shows quite plainly that in the end the government doesn't give two ****s about what's supposed to be its primary responsibility: ensuring the safety of its citizens against aggression by others.
The laws may change slightly, the situation won't.
