can't decide if branch shot barlow or barlow shot branch...my wife thinks henry shot barlow, since they showed henry driving in his truck in the scene before the shot was heard.

i've watched the show since the 1st season, they really stepped it up this last season...very inteligent plot lines, imo.
 
Either way I think it is Barlow who got shot.
And Walt is just a badass, how can you like him!

fixed....one of the best westerns on tv in a long time, almost like reading a louis l'amour novel--the writing is that good, imo.

almost didn't get renewed for last season....i hope they don't cancel it to put another stupid dress show or houswife show on instead-that would just plain suck!!!
 
A@E has some really dumb shows...they should have kept longmire just to have some credibility.
 
Longmire reminds me of my dad in many ways. Principled Man of much thinking and few words.

Tom Selleck's Jesse Stone films cut for the same reason-demographics. He is a lot like Longmire only horny in that he sleeps with all of the hotties.

Funny thing is us older folk have the dough and tend to buy more $$$ than new rat packers. Cars,cruises, appliances, furniture, watches etc.etc.

longmire and jesse stone is a nice comparison!!! both have a code they live by and priciples, since A@E goes out of it's way to promote so called alternate lifestyles maybe they think a man who acts like a man is offensive.

i wonder if they will release the season on dvd? at any rate i am glad to hear it's still in production!!! we need more shows like longmire!!!

NB: Tom Selleck as Jesse Stone will continue as Hallmark elected to do another film.
 
Glad to hear longmire lives on, it should be extremely interesting to see what direction it goes now that Netflix is running it.
 
I missed the last one when they had that Sunday marathon a few weeks ago so I do not know. Direct TV opened up Hallmark Channelf or a few days and aired a JS marathon.

i still can't believe A@E cancelled longmire.....the executives running things in this country are real idiots!!!

Same here!! Also couldn't believe they cancelled The Glades, that was another show I enjoyed.
