I was just wondering if it would be possible to use an injectable testosterone and mix it in a transdermal. I realize test base might be easier since it's powder, but what about something thats meant to be injected?

1. Would the esters be a problem, or would they be absorbed?

2. Which test would work best? cyp, enan, susp, sust, or prop? (water base, oil base, etc)

3. Could you fit more volume of fluid into a transdermal (exceeding 15g) since it's a liquid?

I know there was a question about this in the steroid forum, but this is a little more specific to testosterone. Finally, please don't post stuff like "be a man and inject it". This is just out of curiosity mostly.
 
as far as i know, yes esters would be a problem. im pretty sure u would have to use TNE. as for the other two questions, i cant help u there, sorry

I surmise that it would probably be much more cost and time effective to just buy the powder than trying to deesterfy the test (if possible, i dunno).
 
Won't work. Well it might work but its not worth the trouble. The ester is a problem. Whne the molecule gets too big it won't absorb through the skin easy. Also you would have to add alot of liquid to the transdermal. ie 1ml/250mg test.... Botom line its just not worht it... Hope that helps.. Talk to ya...
 
The following is copied from Avantlab's article on washing the ester off the test prop extracted from Synovex.

"...If you want to prepare the crystals for transdermal use, you need to remove the ester group. The supplies you need are sodium hydroxide, distilled water, and methanol. Dissolve the testosterone crystals in a minimun amount of methanol. In a separate container, dissolve 1/8 teaspoon of sodium hydroxide in 8 oz of hot distilled water. Once dissolved, add the sodium hydroxide solution to the methanol/test solution. This will turn white instantly. Let this react for a few minutes. Next add an additional 8 oz of water, to make sure all the salt that was formed is dissolved. The white stuff you see is pure unesterfied testosterone, and it should be filtered out. You should run water over the testosterone while it is on the filter to make sure all of the salts and hydroxides are removed. Ideally you would test the pH of the test to make sure all of the hydroxides are rinsed off. Dry the powder and add it to your favorite topical mix...."

Just wondering why you would even want to do that. Its much easier to just mix and inject. Transdermal is a big pain in the arse a shot is quick and neat.
