liquid tamoxifen citrate question.

Hey guys, had a question about liquid tamoxifen citrate. I recently purchased some from a reputable company (a sponsor here) and observed a lot of white clumps.

Is this normal? And how do I get the clumps to dissolve? I've read heating it up can help but I'm concerned it may affect potency and am unsure of the process. I'm also concerned with these issues and dosing.

Any help and advise, as always, would be greatly appreciated.
 
it depends on the solvent they are using. the place I used to buy from had big clumps in it as you say, but the last place has crystal clear solutions that don't crash at all and are potent. don't know what exactly they are using. taste like peg. that would be my guess. but you might try heating it in a hot water bath or microwave. don't overdo it and remove the cap to vent it. if you get it too hot in the microwave, it will boil out.
if that doesnt work, break the clumps up into as fine of particles as you can, and shake vigorously before you dose it.

I'm pretty sure it's suspended in ethanol. Shaking for 30 minutes straight and multiple hot water baths had no effect, so I ended up physically breaking up the largest clumps with a metal chop stick. Lol.

Hope this doesn't affect dosing... I'll know soon enough. Lol.

That's all I had. lol. I was looking at this small quasi deformed (from the hot water baths) plastic bottle and was like what the hell can I use to break the stuff up... Chopsticks baby! Lol

Yeah, I emailed them and they replyed pretty quick. All they said was it's normal but can affect dosing. Try shaking it or heating it up. Lol
 
I always use them but that's disappointing. You shouldn't have to play with it. It should be gtg.

Sucks, but at least you handled it.
 
That's puts me at ease knowing guys like you use this company with good results.

Hell, it could just be a fluke. Sometimes things happen, as long as it's gtg now, I'm cool with it.

lol, I figured it was in a glass bottle. the microwave would have probably melted the crap out of it. guess I should have mentioned to use a glass bottle.
