I tend to start and stop these things. I keep training but I tend to get lax on my training logs for some reason. I guess it's because I've been in a constant state of change. I am expecting big things to happen and wanting fast results. It's the exact thing I tell people NOT to do when training. My resurgence begins with returning to what made me strong. Well, the best road to me getting stronger. I am very critical of myself. I do not see myself as strong. I will be the first one to critique myself. Arrogance is not my game. Yes, I can spit fire when I need to but I'd rather not as living life with positivity is more important to me.

Current estimated 1RM's
Squat: 360
Bench: 340
Deadlift: 440

Current Class (USAPL): 182 lbs.
Current Weight: 176-177
*I just started powerlifting in June, have been training for several years with mostly a bodybuilding focus, followed by a short stint of physique. Focusing on slowly climbing up in weight.

Yes, my bench is high when compared to the other 2 lifts. I trained legs, however it was also the easiest workout to skip when life got overwhelming. That is no longer.

I train my lower body 3 times per week. I train upper body twice per week. I train like a powerlifter. This will be a more of a vlog with some of my thoughts thrown in the mix. I like to say I'm open to suggestions, yet I also tend to be ignorant in the fact that if I do not feel it will help, I will simply not do it. I know my body, I just need to trust it.

I also just got rid of a bench (it was bit with the arms way too wide and my bar wouldn't rest properly).

Todays workout went well. Autoregulation is much better when you know and understand your limits. That essentially sparked the video discussion

315 for 3 and 350 for 5.
Not PR's, but I'm glad my back is holding up under loads (it's been a struggle)

Decided to film my lower body warm-up routine. I will do foam rolling generally it's an hour before or the night before.
I do not foam roll everyday.

I don't know if I've ever been this consistent with lower body training, but powerlifting is a whole different ball game.

looks like you got the lock/out bad word issue there. That word is banned here (likely due to it being a very popular supplement retailer).

Lock/out is not a struggle for me however I let my triceps lag and I paid for it. I focused way too much on bench and nearly eliminated all accessory triceps work. Bad choice for me. I do occasionally use the Slingshot though.

Ah, I always forget about LO. Seems a little absurd...

I've been trying to hammer CGBP on arm day for exactly that reason. OHP and bench seem to be climbing too.

So, when I was tracking my food today in mfp, I noticed my macros were high but my calories were off. I know there's some rounding that occurs with labels, but some items are really bad. My protein bar (not naming names) says 200 calories, and you can see in the video how far that is off.

With my shoulder hurting, I didnt want to overdo it on bench work. I wouldnt advise someone to add in a new movement pattern leading into a meet/mock meet/test. However, I felt I needed to do something so this was the top set.

This is leading into my mock meet. I got a new bench with competition specs, so I was anxious to try it out. I did want to make sure I took one 85%+ single before my mock meet, otherwise I'd risk that feeling extremely heavy come mock meet time.

We FINALLY got into our new house, it was only a near 2 year process. No we didn't build, I'm not that well off, but it is a new house to us. It's been chaos over the last few weeks between moving as well as being bumped positions with Athletic Xtreme.
I am now the operations manager and oversee sales.
