Smooth squat Pr Ian.

Yeah me too, but with your front squat strength it's obvious that you got a very strong core and strong quads as well.

What type of knee sleeves do you use again?

You paid $90?

I want the Titan stingers

Those are more reasonable, but man are they ugly.

What's the word on the Sling Shot brand? Or any other brand not $100. lol

I like my slingshot sleeves. Not near as much support as SBD. But they're pretty nice. Really warm just like they all are.

My recovery has dramatically improved over the course of the past few months. Still have 5 days until I resume actual training and I am already dying to get back to the grind.

Dan's training scares me, especially that last set of GMs

Good God thanks a lot. I felt like a bad ass last week with 135 and chains. Im going back to my Crib but let me grab my blanky first

I'm sure Dan knows what he's doing but I'd love to see an MRI on his lower back.GM's can be a dangerous exercise with just half that weight. On one of those reps he dips on one side and the spotters start to grab. He's lucky he didn't slip a disc on that one!

The man is a freak. Anyone else would be injured by now. But that's why he is able to excel. His body is able to withstand a beating. Yanking pulls off the ground and bobbling all over the place with 800+lbs is something he does all the time.

Is this a future self description

I hear that SBD and rehbands are in a league of there own. SBDs got a little more support and springyness then other sleeves.

I think it's important to keep the knees warm throughout your workout so they do serve a purpose. A training partner of mine just bought the power belly sleeves and said he gets a little rebound out of them but I have heard this dissipates over time/use

My SBDs help me feel depth. There's material down there to prevent you from going too deep. Get a few pounds out of them, but that's only because of what I just mentioned. If you buy the proper size you won't get much rebound IMO. If you want rebound use wraps. Or get really tight SBDs like all the IPF fan boys.

The whole knee warmth thing is for comfort. It's actually impossible to warm the knee joint. You're just warming the skin.

I've yet to look into any other pair because I haven't had any complaints with my current pair
Neither have I, I just want em lol I've had my Titan 7mm for two years now

I don't wear them to match my gym attire

I could notice a definite difference when I put the SBDs on vs when I squatted bare bones.. But then again I've never used wraps, so I guess being the first even somewhat supportive thing I've worn accounts for something.

So sleeves are worthless, in your opinions?

Hell no! I don't feel support but damn I move more weight in them. I feel more free to descend with speed and hence move more weight. If wearing a sports bra made me squat more, I'd wear that, too.

If it's all about warmth and mentality, maybe a cheap pair would do fine.

I'm not looking forward to my jump to wraps. I'm not sure why.

Wait, no one else is wearing a sports bra?

Continued deload.
